Good catch. Your right about that. The video I was watching was not from Netflix and so the crap quality glitched/buffered over that scene directly to the boss so I thought the hand holding the gun was his.

I definitely agree that the show wasn't as good as I thought/ hoped it would be but i think MuJin grabbed her…
He didn't throw the fight but made himself far easier to kill by removing all bullets but one. He went super theatrical at the end. Logic aside, the ending felt almost condescending towards the female lead. The boss seemed semi immortal at times and was stabbed several times in stomach but didn't die from blood loss and severe organ damage or require months of bed rest, but the female lead stabbed him once in the chest and he kicks the bucket. The writer probably had an idea of how to story is going to end, and so filled in the blanks leading up to the climax with lazy cliche writing and characters with shallow/inconsistent motivations and low IQ when required by the plot.
