@ponnu, YES! i agree w/ you 10000%! i don't think villain guy really is into Namsoon. he's pretending to be so he can figure out how to get her powers (not that it's possible). if he's really being sincere with her and "falling" for her then it's some of THE worst writing ever for a show! LOL.
it's also idiotic that villain guy hasn't ALREADY had people spying on Namsoon when she's not at work just to make sure she's not betraying him.

@BaeLina, WHAT???? keep in mind Shi-oh plans on letting hundreds of thousands (maybe more?) of people die from the deadly drugs he's putting out on the streets!! yes, he's good looking and has good screen presence and yes, his backstory is sad but HE IS CURRENTLY A MASS MURDERER (indirectly-ish)!!! i guarantee that if the actor playing him was not "hot" most people here would be wanting him to die! we see Bass Guitar girl from season 1 hugging a small child in the trailer but they may have replaced the actors who played the kids in season 1 since they'd be MUCH larger/grown up now in real life.

Honestly, I'm tired of them wasting screen time on the grand mother's love interest. I've had enough.
today's episode (ep. 11) had the perfect amount of screen time of the grandmother and her probably evil love interest guy. i found their one scene to have good emotional heft as well as some cute brevity/humor. short and sweet screen time that didn't take away precious screen time for the other very important storylines.

i really like that formerly homeless girl!! i think her formerly homeless former boyfriend guy and his 100% completely changed heart to be really stupid (the character AND his behavior towards the girl). i hope we see her in the next ep. or 2.

i agree the "catching Namsoon w/ his arm" moment was pretty good! it IS kind of weird how the show hasn't really had any (that i can recall) moving/romantic moments like that between Namsoon or the intended UBER-hot cop guy!
NAM SOON ACTS LIKE A 6 YEAR OLD CHILD!! i do like this show but the fact Nam-Soon acts like a 6 year old makes her being romantic WITH ANYONE really cringe-inducing. the actress playing her is actually very good in scenes that require emotional heft (crying, etc.) but she's being told (by the director?) to literally act like a person with SEVERE ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT!
the way her character is as of episode 9 (i haven't watched ep. 10 yet) she's so immature/mentally stunted that any male suitor would come off as a grown man trying to "date" a 6 year old child (and that is gross!).

@Itoldsunsetaboutmystar, i agree with you! also regarding the original 2017 Strong Woman series, i found the constant gay jokes (homophobia) pretty annoying as well (i'm gay myself so yeah, it got annoying in the original series big time!).
it was ridiculous that Nam Soon didn't IMMEDIATELY tell her mom that a man (the villain guy) threw her across the room with super-human strength!!! that would have been the first thing i'd tell my mom/family when i saw them!
