It seems the other three episodes were just a build up for the final episode. The last episode was epic. However,…
i agree the series in general (story-wise) is very incomplete and imo VERY poorly written. i didn't hate this show but i am frustrated that it had many cool ideas/things in it that went nowhere. and 4 EPISODES IS NOT ENOUGH!! i used to think The Walking Dead's mere 6 episode 1st season wasn't enough eps. but 4 eps. is nowhere near enough to tell a proper satisfying story imo. lol.
This show had a LOT of potential and it has a lot of good things about it (the action/fight scenes, the acting, the special FX/gore, etc.) but the writing is fucked up. it starts the series as if it's on episode 5 or 6...meaning it starts abruptly as if we are supposed to know who the characters are and what the storyline is...AND WE DON'T! lol. there's a lot of different elements in this show (superpowers, creatures, government intrigue/conspiracies, etc. etc.) but none of them are adequately developed.
I'm glad i watched it because again, there are many things to like about the show but why even bother creating/airing a show that's only 4 eps. long and doesn't allow time to develop the characters or the storyline? the whole limited series seems kind of pointless especially since it won't get a 2nd season.
It was more than that, he was setup and blackmailed, while the cops were incredibly unprofessional and held him…
XingBack, WTF???? my god, after reading you comment about what happened to him....it breaks my heart for him/his family AND it infuriates me that these scumbags were setting him up/blackmailing him! i just feel so terrible he went through that (and of course what he felt he was his only way out by committing suicide).
Thank you for the info on this. even though it's heartbreaking, i appreciate your getting back to me/my comment!
I admit i never heard of this film's lead actor, Lee Sun-kyun, until watching this movie but i had read that someone from the movie had committed suicide. it's heartbreaking to read up on what happened with him. from his IMDB bio it says " he was charged on suspicion of using cannabis and psychoactive drugs"??? i don't smoke pot/cannabis but it's one of the least "dangerous" (or whatever) drugs out there. it's often used in medicinal/therapeutic ways. i admit i don't know to what extent Lee was using these drugs but it's infuriating to me that pot/cannabis (and those who use it) are demonized and shamed and get into legal troubles for using it!
it's not like he was cooking meth/crack/heroin and shooting up and going out robbing and killing people. he was smoking pot...something millions of people do and have done for 100's of years!! my condolences to Sun-kyun's family, friends and fellow fans. i hope his is at peace now and i hope he knows he will be missed by millions of fans (as well as his family of course!). RIP
I watched this earlier today and i thought it was REALLY GOOD! unlike movies like Train To Busan, where i genuinely was invested/cared about several of the characters, Project Silence's main flaw is that it barely had me caring about most of the characters due to the shallow writing (character-wise).
but as a roller coaster/popcorn, not too heavy, fun action/thriller it's definitely a solid movie. the cinematography/visuals and atmosphere/tension is very good and (much to my surprise the CGI fx for the dogs was pretty good! Lord knows i HATE bad CGI monsters/creatures in movies and in this movie they did a good job!
a HEVC webrip of the film is up but there's NO English subtitles. bummer. hopefully they'll show up soon so i can watch it! the movie looks really good!
To be honest, I don't really know what happened. I have so many questions like Did Song Kang become a vampire?…
if i'm not mistaken, the woman at the end (in the mid-credits scene) is Ran's mentor/friend we keep seeing in flashbacks. i think she's the reincarnation of that character.
I just watched this and i really liked it a lot! it 100% must have been a pilot episode/test episode for a full tv series though since it's only 1 hour and 13 minute long and also because it really only begins to scratch the surface of the storylines/characters, etc..
IS THERE DEFINITELY GOING T BE A 3RD FILM? i really like both Witch movies and i'm really hoping we're getting a 3rd film...but it's been a while since part 2 was released and there's been no news regarding a 3rd film (as far as i know).
it's so strange to me that to this day Chinese CGI fx in most CGI heavy films look terrible and yet CGI in most S. Korean and to a certain extent Japanese CGI heavy films look excellent.
this movie does look stupid but thankfully i often times like stupid/absurd movies (especially creature features)! i'll check this new movie out at some point.
This is definitely one of the more interesting concepts in Netflix lineup. But I'm trying to remember the last…
i absolutely love season 1 of Sweet Home and i also enjoyed Gyeongseong Creature. Island was pretty good too (not sure if that one is a Netflix show or not though).
anyways, I want a killing OST just like it was in ANIME
i thought the soundtracks to the 2 live action Parasyte movies were incredible!! i downloaded them years ago and STILL love listening to them to this day!
HELL YES!!! this looks freaking awesome!! i absolutely LOVE the 2 live action Parasyte films and this new series looks just as awesome! I'M SO EXCITED FOR THIS SHOW!
Shin, where was the slight romance and between which characters are referring to? i saw no romance between any characters. Min Hye's affection for Jinman was her just being massively grateful to him imo.
lol.
:)
