The post credit bonus scene connects this series to the fantastic series MOVING????? i gasped out loud when it showed Jang Hui Su (Go Youn Jung) and when asked if she was injured in a recent school building collapse, she answers "I can't get hurt"!!!!
and then right after that scene we see the young man with the ability to stop time by snapping his fingers!!! i clapped out loud at both those cameos!! i only now just learned that this series and Moving are from the same writer but i'm confused. were they there just for a fun nod of the hat to MOVING or is there an actual connection between these 2 great shows?
it will be most likely renewed if they want to proceed further. family matters became biggest ever debut in coupang…
@Malay, i'd add The Tyrant (2024) to your list! if i'm not mistaken it's made by some of the folks who made the 2 awesome The Witch movies. it even has several actors from those 2 films in it!
YES! YES! YES!! Soooo excited for season 2! i thought it would never come to fruition!! does anyone know why it's taken this long for season 2 to get made?
FINALLY!! FINALLY!! finally season 2 gets a release date!! very excited for it! i honestly didn't think it was ever going to get made nor get released!
another MAJOR inconsistency or plot hole(?) is the "I'M SO HUNGRY!!" riff from some characters was brought up as a big deal but then completely dropped for no reason or laziness from the writers. ****'s "I'M SO HUNGRY!! I NEED TO FEED!!" deal came up for no reason again and again. we see this character use drugs (heroin? meth? cocaine?) one time to cope with it but later on when it arises again **** is "SO HUNGRY!!" and we never see this character satiate that hunger.
also how did another character NOT get hunger cravings like **** did?
Is there bromance or teamwork between Jang Tae Sang and seung jo
there's a fake out bromance between the 2 men. Seung jo pretends to be helping Jang Tae Sang out and makes it seem like he is helping him (Tae Sang) out but it's all a fake out. Seung jo betrays literally every character in the series including his "mother" Lady Maeda.
story is not completed in this season more seasons to come
i don't think they are going to get a 3rd season despite the writers setting it up for one. the way things end in that post credit ending scene and what that would entail for the show's world a 3rd season would need a HUGE budget increase. i don't see Netflix shelling out that money but maybe i'm wrong.
the story was SO rushed. SO MANY plot lines still open and plotholes still left. Considering where the story ended…
@EoE1337, YES! YES! YES!!! i agree w/ you 100% that this season was ridiculously rushed and unnecessarily crammed with new storylines/villains/creatures (the Kurokos), etc. no particular storyline was given a real chance to breathe since they cut the episodes from 10 to 7.
They did explain how they are hybrids in S1You need that yellow serum to be injected during the initial phase…
what were the Kurokos (spelling?)? as far as a know they never explained them and they weren't in season 1. they just suddenly showed up in season 2 (i DO admit they were kind of cool/freaky).

Can anyone answer my comment right below this one (it's in the spoiler tag)??? it's a question about Light Shop and the series Moving!!
Thanks for the info!
