No, he is not. The actor in one fine week is Shin Jun Seop
I am a big fan of "one fine week" and was excited to find out there's a part two which I am currently watching. I was just wondering if Han Jung Woo's role in this is just a really super quick cameo or is he in multiple episodes?
I’m liking it, I mean is more bubbly and the actors are better looking. But what made the angst real in the…
For the same reason that you say that the one had the angst but this one does not. I'm trying to look at it as its own show separate from the other as if the other did not exist.
And if I compare the two then I would find things I don't like. But if I don't think too much about the old one which I absolutely adore then I can enjoy this one for itself. That being said, I really wish this one was longer because I am enjoying it. Some starts happening in the episode and then all of a sudden it's over.
Ambiguous. Most of the times without direction, and I keep questioning why Im siwan's character has no facial…
I must agree with your assessment. It took me forever to get through the first three episodes. I kept getting distracted and I didn't feel bad about it. But after I finished the third episode I got into the show even though like you said there really isn't much of a plot. It seems like a lot of things thrown together that don't really make sense a bunch of different stories being strung together into one show. Yet, I can't stop watching.
People in the comment section really need to learn to distinguish between the character and the actor/actress.…
Thank you for your words. I was a big fan of the Chinese original but I too am enjoying this version. Yes at times it is a little offsetting to see the ML smile, and certainly having him karaoke with them was really different than the Chinese version. Although to be honest I smiled when the ML sang and even more so when he was flustered at the music stopping.
However, that being said I'm taking this as a different version entirely and really enjoying it. I've watched several versions of "Meteor Garden" and "Itzura in Kiss" and liked them or hated them for their own abilities.
The premise seems promising—the male lead is not connected to the palace, so we may finally get a historical…
Except it does say that the main character has to "hide his identity and live in poverty". This kind of makes me think that he'll turn out to be secretly a prince. I hope not, but it wouldn't be the first time I saw a show where a guy didn't realize he was a prince.
It's not about being a little sweeter, part of the original ML's charm was slowly seeing the cold asshole turn…
I agree that it is kind of fast paced. And it is a little different to see the ML smiling even though it's secretly and not to her face, but I think there's a reason behind him being more expressive so early on.
If you think about the fact that the Chinese version was 23 45-minute episodes whereas this one is 24 20-minute episodes that's a 9 1/2 hour difference. So while it does seem a little fast-paced you have to take into consideration that they do have to push the story a little bit faster otherwise will be finding out the ML's feelings an episode 22.
Not only that but if you think about the final episode where Yi Tian has his monologue it does show that he liked her way earlier than you thought he did. Almost immediately from the time they were in high school. That's why he was such a punk to her because he got so jealous as soon as Wu Bo Song showed up.
So after the first ep (which usually makes or breaks a series), this version is too fast-paced (as with most Kdramas).…
I really loved the Chinese version as well, so it definitely is a little jarring to have it so fast paced. However, that being said there is definitely a lot of filler in the Chinese version because they were long episodes and a lot of them. Whereas this one is the equivalent of an eight episode show all compressed together.
I think I felt the same way with the 2005 2-hour movie "pride and prejudice" after loving the five hour BBC version. Will see how they continue with this one. And I agree I really loved Wu Bo Song so I have high expectations for this version of him.
Which is why I'm glad I haven't read the source material. A good friend of mine is also staying away from it for…
Haven't seen her before but apparently the ML played the younger version of the FL's brother in The Moon Embracing the Sun- took me 4 episodes to figure out why he looked familiar to me

I finally got through all four episodes of run-on and it's better than I thought it would be although it is a little slow at times. You should give it a chance
I just checked it out and you're right lovestruck is only 30 minutes. Interesting. Well, I hope since it'll be shorter episodes they won't leave out too much of the important content. Then again, the Chinese version was definitely a slow burning slice of life drama so maybe the shorter running time will force them to skip over a bunch of filler.
Are all of the episodes really only 20 minutes long?? That's basically the length of eight regular hour episodes. What's the point and not just releasing it all at once in that respect?? I was a big fan of the Chinese version but I will definitely give this one a try.

It took me forever to get through episode one because I had a lot going on but now I'm in episode two and it seems to be getting interesting. We'll see if I stick with it.

Ah so you're gonna wait for the run to end? I wish I could do that but I'm impatient. Plus if it's fully aired I intend to want to jump to the end and watch the ending. So currently airing shows are better for me in that respect.

The final scene of last nights episode with the fight in the karaoke room was awesome! Those two should definitely work together all the time. I'm sure once they work out their issues they will.
