I was thinking about it and she never said the words "he died" but why the hell would they have the mom show up…
I fully agree. I was very happy to hear he was going to have his first lead role because he's done so well in the other roles I've seen him in. And I do think he did a tremendous job in this. And I really hope he does not find this message board and find out how many people are angry. Although if by some strange weirdness he did I hope he know that we're not mad at him just the writers. I think him and Go Ara were a great pairing and I would like to see them together again someday down the road.
Of course. We can't blame the actors for it. They performed their works very well. As far as I know, before the…
Exactly! Having him near death or having him die would've been OK. But what they did to those characters was not OK. Really hoping the riders will explain their reasoning but I'm sure they won't. And I agree with you about waiting for his next projects. He is a tremendous young actor and I have liked him and everything I've seen him in so far. And once again I really enjoyed his character in the show I just didn't like what they did to him at the end. But like you said they have no control over the writing. Now I'm gonna go watch the YouTube compilation video of all of his clips from Search: WWW to cheer up.

Yes, I definitely agree with that. The actors have nothing to do with the writing. I just don't understand why the writers would go this way. I mean again, having a cancer subplot would be fine if they had established it earlier and not the day before the finale. And even then that's not even what pisses me off. It's the fact that they for some odd reason decide to allow their characters to believe someone is dead for five years. That just doesn't make any sense to me whatsoever. I've definitely had several dramas I've watched that did not make any sense to me but this one takes the cake.
absolutely ZERO reason for the cancer subplot!! don't care if it was foreshadowed since the beginning if it was…
It wasn't even the last five minutes of the show. Because the last minute was flashback things. So really it was the last minute of the actual show. But regardless of that I agree with you it's in completely embarrassing that they would plan something like this from the very beginning and think everything was going to go OK. I would've been fine with the cancer subplot had it been established early on. I would've possibly even been OK with her thinking he had died if he was revealed to be alive a heck of a lot sooner. The way I thought it was going to be was everyone was going to think he had died but it was going to be revealed that it was a misunderstanding right away
I was thinking about it and she never said the words "he died" but why the hell would they have the mom show up…
I am very very angry. I know it's just a TV show but we watch the shows to escape reality. Especially this year with all of the crap going on. I do not need something like this
This is such a great example of lazy writing. Why the hell would you allow someone to believe a person is dead for five years? As someone who actually went through a situation just like this one I am not OK with this. And the worst part I think is that the mom was involved in all of this. I don't care if he thought he could possibly die and he wanted to wait until he was fully recovered that is just absolute bull crap. The show was my favorite of the year and now it's really low on my list. And there's been some terrible shows I have watched but this finale wiped out all my good feelings. Of course, that being said I still love all of the actors in the show. I still think they did a great job. I do not blame them for this.
What was that. First why did Juns mom just like say he died? Then why did Jun just think Ra Ra would be single…
I was thinking about it and she never said the words "he died" but why the hell would they have the mom show up and do all that and basically make everybody think he died. I seriously wanna punch this writer in the face a lot. I feel so manipulated.

He definitely is in it a lot more than you would think for a supporting character. Which is why I still consider him more of a second lead. Especially because they do focus on him and a girl that he's liked since high school. I would say that he definitely gets a good amount of screen time in each episode. Not as much as the main couple of course but it's good enough. I would say it's probably about as much as he got in Search
I love your thought, except that one of the voice overs is that of Manbok.
I am really really really really hoping that it is a trick. I cannot handle the idea of his character dying. I'm pretty sure I will be bawling my eyes out at the Thanksgiving table tomorrow if he does
All I know is this episode hit way too close to home. I had a situation like this in real life oddly enough the day before Thanksgiving 15 years ago. Needless to say I was a sobbing mess watching this episode. Thank you writers please expect a box full of piranhas to arrive at your house soon.

It kind of depends on whether or not you like the overall content of the show. To be honest I started watching search: WWW because I love one of the actresses. In fact it's the woman who becomes involved with LJW's character. But as the episodes went on I just did not care about any other storyline except for theirs and I ended up skipping a lot of it. That being said, when the weather is fine it's a slow burn story but overall I never skipped anything. His character is a side character though and a very enjoyable one but not the main character. I would say if you chose between the two go with Weather. Although if you do what I do and skip all the other stupidity in search and watch just his story you'd be very happy. Although, if you really want to just see his parts I can send you a YouTube video of the best moments.

Have you watched Lee Jae Wook in "when the weather is fine" or "search: WWW"? I actually saw him first in search and loved him so much. I really feel as though his character in that show is very similar to his character in the show. And then I saw him in weather and a different dynamic. But what's funny is he plays an older character in both shows. So I was extremely shocked to find out how young he is. I thought he was in his late 20s early 30s and had no idea that he was 20 when he did those shows.

I am really hoping for a happy ending with this show and I do think that because this has been a very lighthearted show they won't end it with a death.
Although, the first episode did have a death of her father. Which is another reason why I don't think they will kill her true love. I think that would be too morbid for her to lose everyone she really cares about like that. She's had her heart broken enough.
Plus, if you think about it she's had two weddings one real, one fake, that did not end with an actual marriage. So I'm guessing this one will end with an actual wedding that nobody crashes.

It is called "Uncontrollably Fond". I found out about it because I listen to a lot of K drama OST's and the theme song from that particular show came on my Spotify radio and it made me want to look into that drama.

I don't know if I want to see the title of it in case you want to watch it and I ruined it for you. But if you do want to know message me back and I will tell you. But yes the two leads knew each other when they were younger and they reconnect when they were adults. And the male lead has a terminal illness. And it does not end with a happy ending. Well I suppose you could say that they are together and in love blah blah blah but anything where the Lee dies when they were young
This is my favorite one to watch. Which one do you like to watch?
