A friend and me watch it at the same time even though we're in different parts of the world and comment as we watch. So often times I do have to go back and watch it again so I can pick up on things that I may have missed while I'm sending her a message.

I thought it was his island but I'm not entirely sure. His reaction when they were on there especially when the tree spirit mentioned the FL had a connection to the island did make me think it was his island. But at the same time he didn't entirely act like it was for sure his island. I probably need to watch the episode again to see if I pick up anything I missed the first time

I do think it's got to be pretty important for them to bring up the island and her having a tie to it. Granted it could be that it's a nod to her being the first love but I like the idea of her being tied to it because of another reason. i'm kind of hoping the riders go in a different direction and make it a whole other light of thought that we haven't even thought of yet.

I have two friends I met on this site that told me I am very good at doing that. Taking a theory and running with it. Sometimes I am right sometimes, I'm half right, and sometimes I'm 100% wrong. But at least it's fun to theorize And see how close I get to it.

Title Tale of the Nine-Tailed Spoiler
Since the producer girl is the FL of the show and LDW is the ML it would make sense for her to be the first love.…
You're right the secretary lady did keep trying to dissuade LDW from pursuing the FL by saying something about "flipping his destiny again". So the idea that she could be a deity of some sort would definitely flip it. Especially if it turned out that she was a far more powerful deity than he thought. It would be interesting if the deity possessed the baby when the parents visited the island. The tree girl mention the fact that all of the different spirits have been taking off for a long time due to what was going on. So what if, that particular deity was one of the last ones to leave and was near death and so she gave up her spirit to the unborn child. So in reality the FL would be human but with the spirit of a deity inside of her. That also could mean that she could have had the Fox Bead inside of her but the Deity is covering it up or got rid of it when she moved in.

Well they keep bringing up the fact that "fox can only fall in love once" and that's why he's so obsessed with finding his first love. But like you said what if since the director say this is supposed to be a new idea, that call curse" of falling in love only wants is broken by the fact that this is not a human but another supernatural being. It'll be interesting to see how it all turns out in the end

So I wonder if his fox bead might be connected to her parent's possibly surviving? If that ties in somehow?
Could that be why the fox bead disappeared? Because it was taken by whoever kidnapped the parents?

Well watching the second episode again i think it is her and the reason is that in the past life when she was…
Since the producer girl is the FL of the show and LDW is the ML it would make sense for her to be the first love. Granted, they keep trying to throw us off by bringing up the whole "fox bead" thing but obviously LDW never stayed this glued to one of the reincarnations before so it's got to indicate it's her.

Although, at the same time seeing how everyone he knows is telling him to stay away from her maybe she isn't the actual true love but the key to finding her. I mean, I would be okay with that. Then it would make sense as to why she doesn't have the bead but she is also immune to his powers. It's so she can lead him to A Eun.

This show is definitely not at all what I was expecting. I was expecting a romantic comedy and well it definitely has romance it has far more drama than it does comedy. But I'm definitely enjoying it as I knew I would. I am a big fan of LJW and I've been waiting for him to have his own show.

Title Do You Like Brahms? Spoiler
Sigh. It seems like Joonyoung wants to like Songah romantically, but is unable to move on from Jungkyung. Meanwhile,…
I don't know that this writer would go that route seeing as these two are the main leads and I doubt they would pull a La La Land on us… But then again anything is possible. I do agree with you though that Joonyoung wants to have a romantic relationship with Song Ah but clearly he is not ready for it if he can't get rid of the items in his suitcase. If he knew that it upset his girlfriend instead of moving it to another place he should've just disposed of it. And the fact that he couldn't clearly shows he's not ready yet.

I am watching this only for the main leads....rest of the cast and story doesn't appeal me..I am just skipping…
I watch the entire episode because a friend of mine and I comment on everything which definitely makes the shows so much more interesting to watch. But I agree the only people on the show I can stand are Song Ah, Joon Young, Young Im, and Dong Yoo.

Looking for the iconic plunger scene in flower boy ramen shop. Anyone know what episode it was in??
What do you mean by iconic plunger scene?

It’s funny because when you did your little “close your eyes“ math problem I couldn’t really think a lot of those scenes in a lot of the shows I’ve watched. And I don’t know if I’m just lucky that I haven’t seen a lot of them in the shows I’ve chosen to watch. Or maybe I’m just blind and somehow missed them although I’m pretty sure there aren’t that many in the shows I’ve watched.

This is a wonderful article thank you so much for it. This is one of my favorite shows I’ve ever watched let alone one of my favorite of the year. I went to university for music education and I was a vocal music major. I relate to this very much because of all of the different aspects of training and classes. However, I do not relate to the love triangle thankfully.

I love this article so much. And I fully agree with your assessment of each of the styles of dramas. Well, at least from the countries I’ve watched which include Korea, China, Taiwan, and Japan. I have not watched anything from Thailand or the Philippines.

It's funny, because all the enough that was one of my very first thoughts as he kissed was "this is his first actual relationship isn't it? This is going to be his first official girlfriend isn't it?" And I agree that makes it very cute and refreshing. And I don't know that she has much more experience but she may have a little bit more. But like you said they do at least in the preview look like teenagers dating for the first time. Although the end of the preview looks very sad and ties into your theory of the idea that he still was not actually fully ready for this yet.

He wanted to play hard to get.
About JY, I have to say I find him a bit too calm and I wish he could grow some balls sometimes“

“If it was me she would have had a taste of my hand in her face.”

~ I echo all of your sentiments but especially these two right there. I think that both of them are too calm at times. But I will say that it seems to me as though since they’ve met they’ve brought out more emotion in each other. Which is probably a good thing. But could also lead to bad things- but like you said, we shall see

Well if the preview for episode nine is any indication it looks like you're right and it'll happen quite soon. JY is definitely one of my favorite characters I've seen in a drama in a long time. He's written very well. He's not perfect and he definitely make mistakes. But, He tries to fix those mistakes as they come to his attention. Plus, he's been so busy with music most of his life that I'm pretty sure this is his first actual relationship. I mean yes he's been in love with JK his whole life but they never actually dated. So I hope SA will be very patient with him, and not let misunderstandings tear them apart every other episode.

He wanted to play hard to get.
Yes, I fully agree with everything you said. I was joking when I said the thing about "is that what he was doing". I don't think he was necessary playing hard to get but I think what you said is right about how he was making sure that the other relationship was definitely out of his heart before moving on.

One thing I really like about JY character well, I like a lot of things of his character I think it's very well written, is that he doesn't tend to rush into things he really thinks things through before he makes a move. And so even though it seemed apparent that he was interested in SA early on he wasn't going to rush in to anything. I think that's why I was a little surprised by the confession at the end of last nights episode.

When I say that I'm surprised, what I mean is that I thought he would confess when he came to see her but when he told her about the piano thing instead I thought that was gonna be the end of it. So when he did go ahead and confessed it seemed as though it was done to soothe her hurt feelings.

That being said, knowing what we do know of JY's character it's highly likely that he meant what he said when he told her that he had come to see her to confess but he probably wanted to get the other thing out-of-the-way first to avoid any future problems. It just seemed clunky in the way that it was done.
