Title Do You Like Brahms? Spoiler
It was unexpected and a litlle bit awkward for me. After saying he would play the piano to help JK, clearly she…
Yes! I'm right there with you that's exactly how it should've happened. I mean I suppose that would've caused drama and they probably would've had a fight. Then again it's only episode eight so we still got another eight episodes to go it's got to be at least another eight episodes worth of angst and fighting and "I'm breaking up with you for your own good" at some point.

He wanted to play hard to get.
Is that what it was? Well he seem to play that game pretty well… Until the very end when he gave up the game :-D

Why are all the professors such horrible trolls? I guess this is what happens when you're too mediocre to achieve…
I am very disappointed in the professors as well. Especially someone who I was a music major and had amazing music professors I'm very disgusted by this.

any thoughts on the confession/kiss anyone? I kind of feel uneasy about this haha it was so abrupt! nothing much…
Apparently there has been a little bit of a time lapse so more time is past and we seem to have noticed. I wish they would've kind of made it a little clearer though. But I agree that it did feel very rushed and panicked. I think he probably would have confessed to her earlier had she not had a freak out moment after he took the paper down. But because of her freak out moment she put it off. And then when she got upset because she misunderstood and thought he was going to confess but he didn't he felt he had to. So I think he wanted to just not necessarily in that moment.

I honestly don't get why he was asking her to wait for him. Despite whatever feelings Jung Kyung had for him and…
I agree that it felt very clunky. I think the writers should've either had him tell her that he was going to play for JK and ended there with a conflict and wrap it up next week. Or they should've had him go in and confessed his feelings and reveal the JK thing later and have a conflict. But putting the two together made it very awkward. It made it hard for me to buy his confession and not think that it was forced in the moment. I really think he does care about her and does want to be with her. But the writers just kind of messed up by combining those two things.

I don't know if im the only one feelin this but as a Violinist I feel like I relate even more to this drama ..…
I am not a violinist but I am a graduate of a music program so I really relate to that aspect of this drama. It's really interesting watching a lot of the scenes and remembering what it was like from my days at University.

Wait what time lapse?
My biggest hope right now is that he just won't push her away because of this. Because right now he will need her friendship even though she would like more than that.

But I think that when it comes down to it she just wants to support and help him and she'll push aside her feelings because she's good at doing that to be there for him if that's what he needs.

Oh, I fully expect him to tell her "thank you that's really nice of you, but I don't feel the same. And to be honest I think he really does care about her but right now he's got so much going on that he sees her as a friend or at least he believes he sees her as a friend and isn't allowing himself to think in a romantic way.

Which again, I think it's very understandable with everything else going on in his life. But I think if he gives himself some time he'll realize that she does care about her in that way.

I mean let's be honest they are the leads of the show that is always end game

man JK got on my nerves this episode.. she was so rude to HH, if you want to breakup with someone you dated for…
Admittedly it does seem a little fast in terms of them only knowing reach other a few months (and it only being the sixth episode) but at the same time I think she decided that she didn't want to a repeat of what she did before with her two friends.

Wait what time lapse?
I don't think it's a dream sequence. My friend and I were talking about how it did seem a little out of left field because it seemed as though there was no "pivotal moment" that made Song Ah have an Epiphany.

However, my thought was that she had that pivotal moment when she saw Jung run out of the building into the taxi. Even though she doesn't know the context of what happened and it's just making it up in her head good or bad.

My thought was that she realizes she's in the same situation she was before with her two friends and she can either let it go and not fight for the guy she likes and not admit her feelings which is what she did before. Or, she can let her feelings be known.

And based on her voice over I think she was going to go with option A and let it go. But the little voice inside of her said no and made her tell him how she felt so she did not repeat her past mistake. But again that's just my thought.

I fully agree with your comments and I also find it funny that he is accused of being only able to speak with…
Once again we are on the same page with our thoughts. I agree that at this point I think it is truly just a friendship between Joon Young and Song Ah, but that eventually it can and will become more. Obviously, as this is a romantic drama that's the end game for the show.

Like you I too worry as (viewers do) would that Song Ah would read into the situation more than she should at this point. However, I feel though if that did happen Joon would be a good enough person to clear up the situation in a kind way and not be cruel about it. That being said though, if the preview for the next episode is an indication it does seem as though they are going to start pushing in the direction of the romantic relationship between the two and a little bit more. It may still be subtle and flirtatious for a while but I think they are going down that road a little bit more. Hopefully it will be without too many complications. But then again if it didn't have a lot of misunderstandings it wouldn't be a Kdrama :-D

And yes, I agree that when it came to Jung, he may have wanted to take action but chose not to do so because his friend also had feelings for her. And perhaps he felt it would be better to let his friend pursue her and keep the friendship in tact. Maybe that was the right thing to do and maybe it wasn't but obviously there's nothing he can do about it now.

As for the relationship between Song Ah and Dong Yoon, i'm not entirely sure how I feel about it. Obviously she has feelings for him and you can see how the situation between her two friends upset her when she found out about it. And at times it seems as though he may have reciprocal feelings for her but then I'm not entirely sure. His hope that she doesn't find out about the indiscretion between the two could be just because he was embarrassed or it could be because he does have feelings for her. Either way it certainly is complicated.

I hope the writer does spend a little bit more time on that and fills in the gap's for us instead of just completely writing it off and moving on. I think it would be good for the characters in general to be able to move on with their lives with each other but still have friendships with the others in their lives and a good healthy way as it should be no longer complicated by romantic feelings.

As a musician myself I’ve never been consoled by music but when Joon Young tried to console Song Ah with music…
I fully agree with your comments and I also find it funny that he is accused of being only able to speak with music. And perhaps that is the case with Jung Kyung, but as you said clearly is that is not the case with Song Ah.

Even from the very beginning of the show he saved her from an awkward situation when he dropped the book when the conductor was being a butt head. And he saved her from awkward situation with a friend by thanking her for her hard work. None of that was done with music. Maybe he doesn't realize how well he does with words when it comes to her.

And don't even get me started on the last episode with the whole "I wanted to smile so I went to look for you"… Dude if you trying to play it off as though you have no feelings for the girl those are not the right words to say

I just realised that joon young has NEVER heard sung ah play her violin while she has been moved by him playing…
Since the episode when Song Ah first heard Joon Young play Träumerei in the practice room I really wanted the two of them to play that piece together. Because I know there is an arrangement where it can be played with a piano and a violin.

I don't know that she's necessarily up to that caliber yet but I'm hoping by the end of the series they will have gotten to that point.

Granted, I know that The piece has connections to the other girl currently. However, I am wondering if Joon starting to think of Song Ah because it's one of her favorite pieces rather than the other girl.

It appears as though he may have chosen to play the piece at the end of this last episode because she suggested it.

Then again, perhaps the two of them need to play a piece that is completely unrelated to Brahms and Schumann to show that they are both broken away from that role.

Please tell me that there will be loveline between the leads because the chemistry between them is overflowinggg!
This is definitely a slow burn romance but yes I think eventually there will be. I like how they're taking it slow and building a friendship and helping each other through their issues but if the preview for episode five is any indication you can see that there definitely is some interest brewing

I read in an interview that lee dong wook was kinda dissappointed in himself and lost respect for himself after…
I am relatively new to Asian dramas I've only been watching for two years and Goblin was the first LDW drama I ever saw. I've seen him in a few others and I really enjoy his acting. I'm really looking forward to this show because I know it will once again be another amazing character that he develops. He is definitely one of my favorite actors because he is so versatile. So it's sad to hear that he had such a hard time after that show ended. But that happens I'm sure.

A beautiful episode yet again. "I'm hugging you as a friend" Yeah, we see you JY lmao!I can't help but fall in…
I agree that this show is really hitting out of the park. Three strong episodes out of three. Yes there might be weak moments and weak characters, no drama is perfect but overall I think they are doing an excellent job.

I really really appreciate the fact that even though Chae Ah was hurt and sad over what happened between her two friends and the realization that Joon Yong was aware of it and tried to protect her from it she didn't get angry with him. She just explained that she didn't really need the protection and would prefer him not to do it again later.

Often times you see a character fly off the handle at someone when it's really unnecessary.

I'm glad I'm not the only one lol. Did you enjoy the drama as much as you enjoyed listening to it's OST beforehand?…
Yes, in fact the first drama I watched because of its OST was "The Beauty Inside" which I was led to by a song by Rothy.

Another example was Touch Your Heart. The song was "What if Love" by Wendy. And that led me to find the song "Make it Count" by Chen and I decided I had to watch the show. And I'm actually re-watching it right now with a friend of mine because it's one of my favorite Lee Dong Wook shows.
