my comment posted before I was done- please send it to a production company in Seoul- maybe Studio Dragon? :-)
You're right about it being tricky when you take a direct transfer of the plot. However, if they find a complimentary transfer instead it could work. For instance, if they can't put the Korean Claire on trial for being a witch, perhaps the writers can research offenses that would have resulted in the same kind of treatment.
And again, with Korean Jaime and Claire leaving Korea I'm sure they can find another equivalent- perhaps going to England? Also, if they didn't try to do a complete adaptation of the original show but took the most important plot points from each season that could work too.
Also, don't worry about rambling, I'm a writer so get me going and it'll be a lot.

But before this happens they really need to think out the plot lines and how to adjust them to fit Korean culture. I like all of the suggestions in this article and if they took them into account it would be great. I know it's uncommon but not unheard of to have multiple seasons of a show. This type of show would need at least 2-3 seasons to be told well. If they tried to crunch it into 1 season of 16-20 episodes it wouldn't work.

I watched the first season of Outlander and thought it was great. I love your idea of adapting this into a KDrama.…

Title Kkondae Intern Spoiler
Regarding today's episode... Love that the senior interns are willing to let the younger interns shine.I absolutely…
I understand what you're saying. But we as the viewers know the truth. And I'm wondering if that's going to come out because it has to eventually come out that the three executives are the ones that gave them those scores on purpose and not because the interns were the most capable. Although, you are right that the interns have proven themselves to be better than their initial impressions would have you believe. In fact GYC himself at the beginning said that he was going to help them become better interns

As for MS all he has to do is prove that he was hired to sabotage. Part of me thinks he'll end up telling them to save GYC and his daughter.

Regarding today's episode... Love that the senior interns are willing to let the younger interns shine.I absolutely…
Actually the two young interns were purposely given high marks by the 3 executives because they were so terrible and they wanted to ruin GYC's department- that's also why MS was hired to sabotage GYC but he realized he didn't want to do that.
The two young interns should be punished, not should GYC under the circumstances it MS and the 3 executives should be.

the cast looks okay, the recommendations is a plus point to save this one. the romance better be minimal.
Almost non existent for the most part.

Title Mystic Pop-Up Bar Spoiler
Remember she said that Weol Ju wrongly blamed the royal family for her mother's death, or something like that.…
I definitely agree with your reasoning. The queen did have to atone for her sins but it's not necessarily a sin to want your son to Mary for political reasons. Had she really caused the death of WJ then I think she would've gotten a C grade reincarnation. But even then I don't think she deserved what happened to her from the evil spirit but I'm not surprised it happened.

Look, I love a cheesy rom-com as much as the next person, but I'm a little tired of the mean/arrogant/rich-guy-with-a-secret-heart-of-gold…
Be honest I was a little worried they were going to try and pull a love triangle with this when it first. Thankfully they cleared that up right away. I love the dynamic of the trio and I've always thought from the very beginning that chief and WJ were the parents of KB.

Title Mystic Pop-Up Bar Spoiler
After seeing the preview for episode 11 : I think Kang Bae will indeed be possessed by the evil spirit and that…
I don't know if he's going to be possessed by the evil spirit although that could happen. I think it's the tree somehow reaching out to him because they show him in the preview standing by the tree. And if he is the son he received all the sorrow of the tree when they died. Although, I did hear the voice when she tried to grab his hand and I wasn't sure who it was makes sense it would be the evil spirit. But I didn't see that evil spirit around him unless I missed that part in the preview.

Just a random thought but wouldn’t it be funny if Kang Bae is WJ mother and then when/if WJ is reincarnated,…
Well I think that would be awesome I actually think based on the conversations in this last episode the mother is Sansin

I am guessing Han Kang Bae is the tree that perished with Wol Joo.... the one that protected the city/ country…
I believe he is the son but he is tied to the tree because when the tree died all of its sorrow went into the unborn child. I think that's why KB has been cursed all this time

Great article ladies. This is actually one of my absolute favorite K dramas and one of the first korean shows I ever watched. In fact most of the songs are on my “Asian drama“ playlist and while I was painting today walking on sunshine came on. It is definitely one of my favorite songs.

This is a great community and I found a few good friends on here as well. Also I think you were both awesome because I was also born in April but a long time before you. :-D

Oh W, I’m glad to see you here. I think you have very stringent requirements for shows you like. I think that’s smart and serves you well.

I must agree with every point you made on this. I really enjoyed this drama. I know a lot of people lost interest in it or disliked it for the last few episodes. But I liked it all the way through to the end. I really enjoyed their little “notting hill” ending.

Also I disliked all the villains but I really hated Dr. Dirtbag Dad because he was so awful and so unaware of how awful he was. And even if he knew how awful he was he didn’t care. And the way he treated his son and told him “I don’t see you as a doctor“ just broke my heart.

Oh, I see so they need to fix that. Have you read the webtoon? Do you know if what we're seeing is anything close to the webtoon?

I'm confused because the synopsis they have listed here is nothing like how they really met and or anything that happened in episode one. Somebody needs to fix that.
