can we talk about the last ep? Like what did I just watch? First Kuea rejected his propsoal and then thex fixed…
I am glad somebody feels exactly the same way I do about the last ep and generally about the drama. This is exactly what I commented as well. I am happy about the happy ending but I also do not see the point of rejecting the proposal if they end up talking about getting married in the next 10 minutes. Either way let's hope we will see them portray better written characters in the future.
Anybody else felt like they kinda could have saved all the drama from episode 11 and just go for this scenario from ep 12 since it literally took 10 minutes for Kuea to get back with Lian? He ran away and the moment Lian found him they were back and talking about marriage. It just felt like the rejected proposal was unnecessary but I will give them that, that when they were competing about who proposes first it was cute. I already mentioned my issues about the grooming and about the weirdness of one acting like a kid while the other one is an adult, but I am just going to ignore it now and say that I am glad it is a happy ending as well as that I am glad this drama is over now. I hope to see the actors in other dramas soon but hopefully with better written characters as they have the skills to portray such.

Basically, yeah. It is such a shame though cause the actors are really good and I like them but they gave them characters that deserve at the very least a nice slap across their faces, which is why majority of us seems to be fed up with the serie at this point.
After the 11th episode and the mess it was, it kinda makes you realise that the mess it is now is because of how much of a mess the show was from episode 1. The relationship between Lian and Kuea was horrendous. When Kuea said he will break off the engagement he should have done so. There is no way you can marry someone for who you had to create a fully new person that is not like you at all. When they suddenly changed their relationship and Lian started showing emotions it is no surprise that to Kuea it would look weird. He was treated like crap by him and suddenly all the affection. I am actually always more on Lian's side because I am not really a fan of the childish behaviour of Kuea but the people around him made him that way so it is not even fully his fault. To me the whole realationship does not really make sense as it was fully built on secrets and both of them finding those out but without ever talking to one another about this. Each had lived their own live to some degree and only met at home where they created a different personas around one another.(I don't know how else I would say this) As much as I want a happy ending for them the proposal was trully at a wrong time. Literally a day before they had a fight and Kuea did not even hug Lian back, therefore Lian should have sensed that something is wrong and what they need to do first is talk.
About the other couple of Yi and Diao, I mean it is nice to see them happy I guess but their relationship just not sit well with me. I guess it is because of how much Diao looks and acts like a child while Yi is definitelly an adult. The same could be of course said about Lian and Kuea with Kuea's behavior in certain aspects but with Yi and Diao I guess it is more clear that they are like a kid and adult. With Kuea you at least got him to stand up for himself and act mature but with Diao the only time he spoke for himself it was more like a kid throwing a tantrum. I do want them to be happy as well but I wish that they made the storylines a bit different for both couples.
The only couple I do not have issues with is Syn and Nuer so hopefully the writers will not mess them up in the last episode, but with how much mess they have created already they probably will not even have time to focus on this couple in the last episode.
