Nice historical drama starring at a daughter from noble family distinguished herself as a son to protect and earn merit for her family but after that her family backstabbed her. Through thick and thin she’s come back to a new life with her real name earn everything back from her talents and skills. She’s a role model for women, to remind them they have their rights to do what they want, do business to support their life not trapped at home try to please husband, do needlework and learning about virtue of woman. Last but not least she’s found a partner who can pave a way for her, support her, care for her, love her, support her ambition to be a general. best drama in this mid year 2025
I never watch coroner drama before, and this drama gave me another new vibe of historical drama. I love how FL is smart and talents most important things she's alway be positive and down to earth person while ML is brave, smart and strategist. Second FL and ML they're both really passed the vibe the way they enjoy theirselves, hobbies and character. Screenwriter in this drama do a great job they don't make the drama feel bored nor complicated storyline. The ost 此爱-敖瑞鹏 & 别叹-黄霄雲 these two songs really soothe my soul. Overall the 22 episodes I have watched so far i can say that this drama, story line ,plots, and OST all surpassed "The Princess's Gambit" and "A Dream within a Dream" in my opinion.I never leave a review before but this drama too good to not leave any comment here. Highly recommend to C-drama fan out there to watch this drama.

This series drama really worth to watch
The acting and storyline really perfect. The cinematic level is really great hoping this series will be available in Netflix soon. Some fans they annoyed by FL doesn’t appear in the first few episode but for me i think writer did a great job for keeping us wonder about FL. I love how ML have ambitious and clear commitment to be an immortal without entangle with any FL yet so far. I find it really interesting and funny how ML try to buy and create many artifacts to protect himself and boost his cultivation level. Everyone keep surprising by his artifacts when they have dual match with him I think he’s have enough artifacts weapon and medicine pills to open a shop himself 🤣. He’s been visit YUE KINGDOM many times yet he’s can’t have a proper chit chat with his family and can’t even see his sister off during wedding ceremony that part really left me disappointed. Even though this drama only have 30episodes but I hope the ending will be satisfied for us viewer.Was this review helpful to you?
Did not expect the plot twist
The plot twist of this series really insane I try to guess each episode every time and my most suspect person is Zhuge Kongyun and unexpectedly it turn out to be the person that I never have doubt in any episode. From my point of view FL and ML don’t have much chemistry as a couple but more like a partner who work together I get that they’re growth together so they seem more like that as siblings and partner I mentioned.
