SO SO GOOD! OH MY GOD, THIS IS HONESTLY SO GOOD! From the chemistry, acting, casting, dialogues, story details, and props, to the makeupāeven the never-ending antagonistsāEVERYTHING IS PERFECT!! I wasnāt bored at all. NOT A SINGLE CRINGE SCENE. EVERYTHING IS PERFECT! Even though thereās one small minusāthe supporting charactersā outfits, like the stepmotherās, FLās older sisterās, MLās assistant, MLās grandfather, and his assistant, barely ever changeāyou can hardly even notice it. But honestly, itās no big deal as long as the FL and ML change outfits and there are no plot holes. From the very first minute, I was already thinking, āWow, this one is going to be good.ā Why? Because the scene where Wen Li (FL) gets hit by a car is SO REALISTIC! There are so many everyday-life moments that are actually necessary in a drama to make it feel more alive and emotionally immersiveāand this drama really applies that well: Fu Zheng couldnāt open the car trunk right away when he was about to propose to Wen Li, Fu Zheng dropped the ring when he tried to put it on Wen Liās finger, Fu Zheng couldnāt find the ring in his pocket when he was about to propose. And one more thing: within the first three minutes of the drama, I was mesmerized by Wang Yi Ranās acting when he was crying and desperate after the FL died.
