I don't let comments sway me from watching something and I'm glad. Judging from some of the comments and reviews, you would think this was unwatchable for several reasons.

This is a cute short, shorts always leave me yearning for a bit more, but such is the nature of the format.

People are dunking on Cho's acting in this, I was expecting him to be inexpressive like the Tin Man or something, he's not the most amazing actor, but it wasn't that bad. It's a low budget short. I was giving grace before I started.

Lee's character got to wear a few pretty cute outfits. I'm actually going to crochet a cardigan based on one of his fits.

The kissing is god awful, it's like they planned the kisses out like this... let's start with our mouths open and pressed together, count to 2 and close, count to 2 and open, and repeat.......It really looks like tandem opening and closing of touching mouths to me 🤣

I will say, Season 7 of Love Island USA gave me kissing PTSD or something, I'm easily put off of kissing if it looks weird 🤣

I overlook red flags like I'm paid to do it. I can enjoy most anything. Romanticizing rape is never going to be okay to me. I see some comments criticizing those of us that are criticizing this trope, and chalking it up to fiction. Fiction does not mean that it doesn't have impact on hearts and minds. Rapist frequently attack based off of the fictions they've created in their heads. BLs are viewed heavily by youths, I think planting the idea of falling in love with your rapist, even in a fictional show, is careless and dangerous. He was brutalized by that guy now that's his man?!! PUHLEASE! and that fuck ass's brother wasn't even dead 😫

nothing would piss me off more than If we were in the middle of an apocalypse, and someone started putting the moves on me 🤣I always get so annoyed with this trope 🤣🤣

I didn't read the novel. I had no idea what to look forward to, and was losing hope 🤣 I have never disliked so many characters in one series. Even the "cameo" characters chapped my ass. 💀

I was watching other things to cleanse my palette as well 🤣

Right, their entire comment seems like it's in bad faith to me. I think the chemistry between them makes sense in light of the genesis of their relationship, and how things progressed. They're becoming warmer with each other now that they're both feeling like the relationship is something real that can last. The plot isn't boring, it's just not crazy toxic or overly freaked out.

But it is also rooted in a bit of kink, servitude.

I think it's realistic, everything that's happening seems like things that could happen in everyday life, it's not fantastical, and that's okay!

the Dad's beard reminds me of Hia Sorn's in My Stubborn, but not nearly as awful. But I was cackling about it again, poor Boat 💀
