Can I say its QMin and not MinQ 🫣 That's the vibe I am getting
Edit: God forbid people have different opinions in this chat. Based on my interpretation of the trailer and the spoilers I’ve seen, I'm voicing my opinion. But then we have folks inserting themselves and picking fights because I expressed my opinion being so excited about a show.
Anyway, I’m here with my QMin agenda because I’m excited to see a gentle giant who treats Q like a flower, Min. 💙
This GMMTV trailer is the first one I've seen in a long time that I actually liked. Usually, the trailers are a miss for me, but I absolutely love what I see here. And can we talk about the chemistry? Even if I don't end up liking the story, the chemistry alone would keep me interested. But from the snippets I've heard of the book, I think the story would be just as good.
Arm Share is happening with OhmLeng tomorrow. So, does that mean the trailer will be dropping on Thursday? It seems to make sense, 'cause the Kidnap X Account started posting pics last Wednesday. They might wrap it up with bts pics tomorrow and release the trailer on Thursday.
I'm pretty pumped but also a bit nervous about this show. I really hope GMMTV promotes it well. It kinda sucks that they didn't promote it at all during filming. Given GMMTV's track record of lackluster shows, I'm really hoping this one hits the spot.
I know some are apprehensive about the actors, but I think some are forgetting that all these actors (even though not consistent) have provided some outstanding performances. Win with Enigma, Tu with 10 Years Ticket, Fourth with Moonlight Chicken, Perth with Double Savage, and I don’t even have to say anything about Nanon because that boy is an acting protégé.
I also see GMMTV outsourcing in finalizing the script and getting a lot of external folks for production.
I want to say that GMMTV is pouring a lot of money into the show, so I don’t think this failure is an option for them.
I’m excited. I can’t wait for the show to air and for all the folks to get their much-needed general public recognition.
Agree it fell flat after a couple of episodes, I found Ohm & Nani's characters boring and like you say wastes…
Omg. I cannot believe I forgot to mention Kay & Thor. I need to see Kay in more shows; I liked him in this series. As for Thor, he played a complicated character well. I ended up feeling a little bit bad for Top. He just needed a loving environment and instead got an awful father.
in the recent gmmtv livehouse episode, leng said that he got through gmmtv and kidnap through casting (and at…
Leng also went for auditions for PitBabe as well. If he got this job due to connections, why was he in a room full of others waiting to audition? And why didn't he get that role? LOL.
I understand people are mad about their ship breaking, but honestly, they need to get some factual data before spouting nonsense. They should also leave Leng out of whatever angst they are feeling. At the end of the day, the boy is here to do a job, and by luck, it comes to be his childhood friend.
If anyone here read the novel or knows of the novel do Pali and May have a more explored relationship because…
Wait. I completely forgot that May and Pali knew each other. Did they just drop that plot point from the 1st episode? I don't think they ever talked about how they knew each other. 😫
GMMTV and the production house wasted the potential of some of their best actors.
May was the standout character, and that’s because her character was the most fleshed, while everyone else seemed two-dimensional. Kudos to Piploy because I will never forget her and her character whenever I think of this show.
How do you have someone like Ohm, who excels in emotional scenes and has such a fabulous screen presence, become a background character? Justice for Kong because the character had great potential, and they just made him so dull.
Pali was unneeded for this story, and the same applies to Tam. What was the point of either of their characters? The show promised me a great friendship between Kong and Pali, and after the first 2 episodes, dropped it and acted like that never happened. The director and writer kept telling us how great friends Kong and Pali are; well, prove it, damn it!
Satang really surprised me on this show. I am going to keep an eye out for his future shows. He has so much potential to be a great actor.
In conclusion, am I mad I watched this show? No. Will I re-watch it? No.
Kudos to Ohm. You were given shit of a script, and you acted so well with what you were given. Film, no words, girl, keep shining. Piploy, you carried this show on your shoulders…take some rest, queen. Satang and Phuwin, good job. Baby Nani, you did well, but I hope you take this opportunity to keep improving because you need it, baby.
As for the director and writer, please write better scripts and direct a better show. Don’t rely on your actors to save your behind.
BUT I’m so disappointed that they have a powerhouse of a performer that is Ohm and has reglated him to be a background character in most episodes. Like. Give this man a good script and he will devour it.
Also, May & Pheem need to mind their own business and make out. I feel that they are getting played.
Kun needs help in money management because idk what to say about him. He’s walking into a mess with his eyes wide open. I want to smack him.
Mac, how are with your whole chest telling Kong that you envy him and that’s why you chose to betray him. I understand circumstances made you the way you are but literally the only one that truly cared for you was Kong.
All these characters are pissing me off! 😤🤦🏽♀️
Kong, baby, I will take you away from these people and will give you loads of hugs and kisses 😚💋
Nani really be flying under the radar whenever the topic of GMMTV's worst actors that get pushed is brought up.His…
Glad I’m not the only one feeling this way about Nani’s acting. The scene with Kong, Kong’s mom, and him was just painful to watch. He’s just so monotonous, and has such low energy. I’m not feeling any intensity in his character, who just found out his girlfriend would be leaving the country. Like where is the desperation? He just becomes a background character and he just doesn’t have that present to capture you.

Is this show even getting any buzz?
I don’t see it being mentioned or have BTS scenes in LiveHouse.
The show had so much potential.

Other than that, so far I’m liking it and I’m curious to see how it ends.
