Just wondering if there have been any new updates on the movie? I saw they announced it last week during the GDH showcase, but wasn’t sure if the leads were announced.
Every time I log into this account, I laugh when I see the same accounts crying over a show they don’t like. It’s amusing to see at this point, and even more funny to see them sneak other shows to throw in shade. All that shows for me is their insecurity and nothing more.
It's understandable that not everyone may enjoy the show. But…Phew…there comes a point when you can see that some comments are made purely out of vileness and not out of thoughtful, constructive criticism.
My review: I love the chemistry between OL. My one critique for episode 4 was the choppiness of the editing. It seems that last-minute decisions led to the inclusion of scenes from Chapter 5, which affected the overall flow of the episode. I hope this will be fixed for the next episode.
The chemistry between the leads is exactly what I was hoping for. I'm absolutely loving the pacing of the series and I can't wait to see what next Friday brings.
Okay. And I clearly said it wasn’t my preference. I also indicated I don’t spew venom for said show like many folks here do for Kidnap. But hey. Selective outrage and whatnot.
Yet another comment from a fanatical GMMTV fan with no critical sense who thinks we should accept anything that…
I’m assuming it all comes down to preference because I found Last Twilight dull and a cop-out with that dismal ending. But do you see me going around bombarding it with negativity? If I don’t like something, I walk away and do not do whatever is happening in this chat.
It’s very clear to me that you and a couple of other folks have ulterior motives here. If you have issues with shows and actors that have caused you to be this worked up, you should go to said shows' page, give them constructive criticism, and stop using this page for your trauma venting.
Finally, this is the first time I’ve been called a GMMTV fanatic, which tells me all I need to know about you because critical thinking has left the chat. If you can see my comment, it was about me watching GMMTV shows and finding THIS particular episode one of the best. This should tell you what my thoughts have been for all the shows produced by GMMTV, including Last Twilight.
I will ignore you going forward because it’s obvious that you and I will not have a constructive and conducive conversation on this topic.
But if you continue to stay and vent your negativity, please do look forward to some fantastic spoilers from EP2. 🔥
Thanks to people like you who are content with little they don't make works like NOT ME anymore, nowadays they…
Listen up. The reason shows like "Not Me" aren't being made anymore is because it didn't get the attention it deserved when it aired. GMMTV produces shows based on what works for their target audience. Instead of blaming OhmLeng, the production crew, or GMMTV, it's time to explore other shows that align more closely with your preferences because clearly GMMTV shows are not giving for YOU but is clearly working for OTHERS.
I believe it's unfair to downvote an entire series just because the overall quality of GMMTV shows hasn't been up to par to your individual standard. If there are issues, we should address them with the specific shows, by sharing critiques there. Using "Kidnap" as a punching bag because of disappointment in the overall series that GMMTV has produced in 2024 is not productive.
On the other hand, in comparison to the BL shows GMMTV has produced in the past several years (I've been an avid fan since "2Gether" and "He's Coming to Me"), I think this is one of the best first episodes I've seen in a long while.
It's important to refrain from bringing people's age into this debate. When age becomes a factor, it undermines the validity of the discussion.
It's disheartening to see the comment section turn into a war zone. While it seems like RGs and Ohm antis are finally coming out to hate on a show, this only reinforces my confidence in the final product. It feels like people are simply jealous and scared.
Lastly, to those who nitpick certain scenes, trust that they will all connect later on, as the first episode lays the groundwork for what's to come. We won't get a full character background now, as that will unfold as the series progresses, explaining the characters' true motivations (based on the novel I've read).
PPS: MDL really needs to revamp the rating system. No one person should be allowed to vote until we hit the 80 percent mark for a show. I've seen the rating for Jack & Joker and the first episode was solid. The rating is not on par with what I saw.
Can someone tell me where I can find the episode, please? All i'm seeing on Youtube is Kidnap Special which is…
It's released on Netflix for SEA and Latin Americas, and on Gagaoolala for US, Australia, Germany, and UK. You can watch it on YT as long as you are not in the countries listed above. If you are, you need VPN.
I absolutely loved the first episode. Everything from the cinematography, OST, and color grading to the team and actors giving their all was top-notch. This has to be one of the best episodes I have seen from GMMTV in a long time.
There will always be haters, and some might still have doubts from Ohm's previous BL show. But in the end, those who like it will love it for what it is - a pure and simple love story.
PS: Shoutout to Leng because he surpassed my expectations.
It's a bromance, Why did they have to force Ohm to kiss? the company is disgusting.
I’m not sure where you got that info from, but when the pilot trailer released last year it was announced as the most romantic story and tagged as BL. 🤷♀️

I am always here to see Ohm in sleeveless tee 😮💨

Use your own judgement and give this show a chance because it’s actually good.
The comment section is a clear indication of RGs that can’t move on and will work 24/7 to sabotage a person they supposedly “like.”
