im 100% sure he’s gonna come back that’s what happens in every fantasy drama
Is just me or did he renounce his “demon-ness” when he gave Do He back her life. Maybe he comes back as a Guardian? Here’s hoping this show doesn’t bring us misery with a bleak ending 🤞
You can watch the ML in handsome siblings 😍 I love him in that!
I’d describe HL as a little more slice of life - calm and steady without too much drama. It’s very sweet and definitely driven by the believable interaction between the leads. My favourite time period is from episode 8 onwards - college and relationship building. I happen to love slow and steady build up, but I know others may prefer more action. Watching episode 3 of Handsome Siblings now - lots of action there and very fun! CZY’s character is very mischievous! :)

Hi, I think I’ve scrolled past Handsome Siblings and maybe (?) Our Secret on Netflix - will have a look at the 3 dramas you’ve both suggested. I think maybe my expectations are sky high after watching Hidden Love…. Thank you both and hope you are having a good day! 🙏
Yeah you can read the novel on Internet The title of the novel is "Secretly Secretly but unable to hide it"
Thank you for taking the time to answer and sorry for the late reply - real life obligations got in the way! Googling the book right now! Very excited - thanks again 😊
Been rewatching this, and I feel bad for DJX in episode 7-8. For the two years they didn't see each other, he…
Just now watched this part - I agree!!! He is such a hurt and lonely soul but found connection with her family/ older brother, happiness and a sense of belonging when he lived in her home town for university! He was obviously fond of both her and her family! He would definitely have felt bad/ confused when she faded out of his life :(
I’m enjoying this gentle and beautiful coming of age/ slice of life series! The male and female leads are so, so good at emoting subtly (especially the gorgeous young actor who plays ML! Haven’t seen him in anything before, but he is so good in Hidden Love and delivers a thoughtful and understated performance which draws you in). What else is he in that’s this good..? Any recommendations?
The director and whoever cast this deserve a raise! Also, the FL’s wardrobe (at Uni) is so, so cute!!
Also anyone know if the book has been translated into English…???? I’d love to read it. I always feel that English subtitles don’t always convey the intended meaning… Sorry for all the questions…!
😅😅 It’s not about them being rich Read the synopsis or watch the trailer Maybe if u watch after three…
You are right. The actor described the ML as a “narcissist “in an interview and mentioned he often felt second hand embarrassment with some of the lines/ behaviour he had to portray for the Demon character.
Spoiler warning ahead:😬: Demon does evolve in the show - crossing paths with DoDo He, does reawakens human memories and also his compassion/ softer emotions for “insignificant “ humans etc. I won’t “spoil” too much more - but, later episodes explain why he “lost” his humanity :( FL is prickly due to being guarded and growing up surrounded by enemies ready to take her down - the extent of the viciousness of her family is gradually revealed. Her guard slowly falls away when she meets the ML- this story arc is super cute and fun to watch - most of the humours aspects of the show and my favourite scenes are aligned to this story arc!
Sorry for the looong post :) hope it helps your decision.
personally its on and off. some chaotic scenes r really enjoyable and sometimes i get bored. depends on whether…
The Show’s a mood - fun, chaotic comedy, romance . The storyline is written like a string of events that are gradually revealed/ resolved after a couple of episodes. The big mystery is supposed to be uncovering the main villains history/ motives - but, I agree with others that this part is dragging a little (no shade! Just my opinion). As a viewer, you can look forward to watching the spectacularly gorgeous leads being cute and interacting in an adorable way! Not to say that both actors aren’t good -they are. Song Kang strength is emoting, but seems to be still learning about how to balance comedy (but still does an awesome job). Sorry for he long post! Hope it helps with you decision!

I’m watching Hidden Love too!!! No skipping at my end for that one either - the best C drama I have seen (although I haven’t watched many!) I look forward all week to watching both on Friday nights! Popcorn + drama therapy!

I wouldn’t normally dignify comments like this with a response but this was just not at all OK. So here goes:
Different people will look for a viewer experience that works for their individual preferences! Not everyone is the same nor will they like the same things - the world would be a a boring place if that was the case!
BUT - judgment of someone’s individual taste is never OK! Writing negative reviews that personally attack the actors/ production team/ enthusiastic viewers of drama is shameful, mean and immature!!
some people are so mean in the comment sections?? I don’t care how many kdramas you’ve watched in your life…
So well said! Different people will look for a viewer experience that works for their individual preferences! Not everyone is the same nor will they like the same things - the world would be a a boring place if that was the case!

Loving the tango scene in episode 4. Love love love.
It’s one of my favourite scenes too! I love the gang leader - comic timing was spot on!
I think I heard the director mention he made the tango scene intentionally very challenging so the actors had to practice the scene for months before filming even started!! All that practice meant the actors got to know each other and leant to work together before filming on set. Tango boot camp!! :)🕺

Yes, I noticed the the immediate switch into professional mode with the romantic scenes as well! Agree - they do seem to have an easy going and relaxed vibe when working. Everyone around them is smiling too - their happy energy must be infectious :) Thanks for explaining re seniority and for posting the link :)
Behind the scenes ep 9https://youtu.be/jUPzrPZbJbg?si=5sdEmB1br7bodrgg😈💕
Thanks for sharing! Impressed at the high level of professionalism and maturity Kim Yoo Jung demonstrated at such a young age. Her acting is so good for someone only in her early 20’s and she also seems to have a down to earth and fun personality. Hope she keeps this balance as she becomes more famous!
All this questions will be answered in the next ep 🙂
Makes so much sense!!! God lady didn’t expect either of them to be selfless- and both were! So, that changed the outcome and maybe Gu Won’s power source? Guardian now..?
Here’s hoping this show doesn’t bring us misery with a bleak ending 🤞

PPS: I plan to watch Parks Marriage Contract after My Demon (which I love) and I’m sure it will be excellent too!!
