And joy acting is average so that her character seems to weaker than the second female lead.

If they are soulmates, how can they fall apart after Shi Hyun met a girl just few days? It is illogical. The writing is gradually weak now.
And the friendship between Soo Ji and Shi Hyun may end after he knows her mother is the causes of his mom's death.

The kisss between Soo Ji and Se Joo next week may change their relationship. One, after Soo Ji said he meant nothing to her, he will turn his back on her. Or he will become darker and fight for Soo Ji's attention with Shi Hyun if his character is the same with Chuck Bass (gossip girl first season). Soo Ji, Shi Hyun and Se Joo are adults. They are over 18, they have brains to responsible for their choice. Shi Hyun is the one who chose to follow Soo Ji's wish or not. Shi Hyun is not better than Soo Ji. They are terrible people in the same level.
I do ship Shi Hyun and Soo Ji because of their strong chemistry. But based on characters, Se Joo and Soo Ji are better match because Se Joo fully understands Soo Ji and know how to deal with her while Shi Hyun only knows to fullfill her wish or make her go mad. He doesn't know how to refuse Soo Ji without consequences.

This drama let the Shi Hyun fall quickly in love with Tae Hee. It is not persuaded. He seduced many innocent and naive girsl, what did make Tae Hee special?

Tae Hee's character is quite flat, and Joy's acting is not strong enough to make this role interesting.

I love the trio story. This drama will be more interesting if they let the trio be central and resolve some school issues like in the first few episodes. Or maybe they can develop the story like Gossip Girl.

Some people say that Se Joo and Shi Hyun are like a dog for Soo Ji. She does not treat them as friends. I disagree with this statement.

First, both Shi Hyun and Se Joo come from rich families, and they are also spolied, seduced many girls. If Soo Ji really treated them as a dirt, how can they be friends for a long time?
This drama does not show much their friendship before Tae Hee's appear. But it must be something special about Soo Ji so that they crush on her instead of may other girls?

Second, Se Joo likes giving Soo Ji whatever she wants but it does not mean he obeys her like a dog. For example, when Soo Ji wants Kyung Joo comes with the group. Se Joo finds the way to make KJ stay at home. It can be seen that he can deal with Soo Ji. And not every time Soo Ji called, he appeared. He likes Soo Ji but he doesn't do anything she asked for. He only follows Soo Ji's wish if he wants.

Third, Shi Hyun actually is the one almost always follows Soo Ji's wish. Shi Hyun is a player but he did not know how to deal with Soo Ji when she went crazy before he met Tae Hee. Partly, He is the one who spoiled Soo Ji. And Soo Ji cared for him. She threw the trash bin to the guy who talks about Shi Hyun's mom.

I don't think Soo Ji does not care about her friends. She knows Shi Hyun like drawing but she pretended not to know. She may know Se Joo's seriousness and has feeling for her but pretends not to know. As she said, everybody she loves leave her so she pretends to be mean. She is mean of course but she is scared of hurt and she does not want to be those girls that Shi Hyun dated. She thinks if she is his friend, she is unique forever. And I believe that she asks Shi Hyun to seduce Tae Hee not only out of revenge but also checks Shi Hyun's loyalty to her. She is insecured.

Actually I find otherwise. I do not like the main lead. Her character is boring. She is not special compared to other female lead in different dramas.

They remind me of Chuck Blair. They are toxic but they are strong when they are together. They still have a happy ending.
Do you want someone toxic like Shi Hyun loves Tae Hee? It would be more toxic than two toxic people love each other.

I also ship Soo Ji and Shi Hyun. Soo Ji and Shi Hyun have more chemistry than Soo Ji Se Joo.

I agree with you that it would be better with Shi Hyun and Soo Ji. I think the story will be more fresh. We watch many versions of this story so it would be boring if this film was the same with candy girl has guy's heart. Rarely, the female leads of Korean dramas are strong and interesting. Normally, they are so innocent, naive, and sweet or over sassy. For example, I like the female lead in Prosecutor princess, she is fashionista and work hard when shee needs.

Ruler of the mask is very promising in the beginning but it is going down now. It lost its fast-pace story three weeks. I hope the crown prince come back to his plan instead of caring only about his love life.
Some people said that 7 days queen is more interesting but I find it not my taste. And it is difficult to follow few historical dramas at the same time.

@ Lala_Chi: I think the couple in fight for my way have good and natural chemistry but not strong chemistry. Very strong chemistry lead couples (Strong woman Do Bong Soon, Jang Ok Jung live in love, Oh my venus)
Crown Prince and Ga eun have average chemistry in my opinion, not terrible but recently I realize too young actors cannot perform perfectly when it comes to love. The story is important but I think some actors have strong chemistry enough to make audiences believe they love each other even in the first episode.
@ Kate: I agree with you about Whisper. The leads do not have chemistry and their story is so forceful. I am only impressed by Kwon Yul in that drama.

Lee Dong Gun acted as Yeon San Gun, not King Jung Jong. Personally, I think Lee Dong Gun has not impressed as those who acted as Yeon San Gun before.

Oh, I like the Emperor: Owner of the mask more than this drama. They are my first favorite airing drama, then Fight for my way. The emperor: owner of the mask balance between political struggles and love story. And its story is strong and logical.Meanwhile, seven days queen would focus on love more than political struggles.
I like Joo Won but I have to drop my sassy girl. SBS is weak competitor when it comes to historical dramas even SBS has good actors. Jang Ok Jung is example. Good actors and amazing chemistry but cannot save the story.

This drama is better than I thought but I do not think Lee Dong Gun's acting is better than those who acted as Yeon San Gun before.

I think when Jun Ji Hyun acted this role, she was young and suited the role. But nowadays, when she acted in her drama the same she acted before, it is really overacted and she is too old to act like that now.

I like Joo Won and watch almost his dramas but this drama is horrible from content to fashion. Oh Yeon Seo is too old to be naughty princess. I can see all her wrinkles in her eyes. The story is not only stupid but it is also not accurate. Joo Won is in Qing dynasty but the king does not wear Qing's clothes. And many other things. Even I like Joo Won, I cannot bear this drama. It would be better if they chose someone young enough to act as princess, clothing is not too colorful.
