Joo Won acting is very good. Oh Yeon Seo is ok, sometimes is overacted but I do not find it annoying. I hope the story is good because Joo Won acts in this drama. However, I doubt that because SBS's historical dramas do not have good story even they have good actors such as Jang Ok Jung, live in love and Moon lovers. SBS historical dramas always go up and down. Some parts are creative, some parts are boring and illogical,
This drama is promising, at least after watching two episodes.
The story can balance between power struggle and love. The leads are cute and act naturally, the second leads 'acting is alright. I hope the second female lead has something to do related to the plot instead of going crazy because of love. Her character seems to be interesting.
I like the male and female leads. They looks lovely as a couple.
Hope this drama have happy ending in the end.
Sometimes, I also like the relationship between Husband and wife, Dong Joon and Soo Yeon. Each time he said Soo Yeon ah, very sweet with Soo Yeon's angry face :)) Soo Yeon is too beautiful to hate. Her face is so cute.

I think Jung Il and Soo Yeon would be together in the end. They would be in the jail. Personally, I think Soo Yeon is the one who sacrificed in the relationship more than Jung Il but when Jung Il's betrayal, I think she is cold and willing to take Jung Il down more than Jung Il's willing to do so.

Me too. I do like them more than the main leads. After backstabbing each other, both of them are gone crazy, and tried to take others down. I do not like the writer for making them turn their back easily. It seems not to be logical. They makes the second leads and supporting characters are too stupid if compared to the main leads. It is not understandable because the second leads and supporting characters have high positions. How high position people can be that stupid? They have to manage big companies. This is huge problems of this drama.
I think this drama is illogical sometimes. Their scheme is not smart. Sometimes I felt they tried to make second leads and supporting roles be stupid in order to show the main leads smart.
Jung Il and Soo Yeon's love turned to be hatred. They stabbed each other back not only because of their own interest but also the feeling of lover's betray. At first, Jung Il finally find the way save both Soo Yeon and him in the case of Kim Sung Sik's murder and he only intended to shoot Choi Il Hwan down. But now, after Soo Yeon used their past love to make him confess and threaten him, he is now gone crazy and let Baek Sang Gu back to frame Soo Yeon. And it would bring the end for both Jung Il and Soo Yeon. Dong Joon and Yeong Joo may persuade Baek Sang Gu to tell the truth. Jung Il now lost his mind and underestimated the danger of letting Sang Gu back.
I stopped following the story in the middle of 2 episode. Lee Bo Young its not for me - I find her a very expression…
@ louloudi: I agree with you. I do not know why but I have never felt her Lee Bo Young's characters. Her dramas story are usually good but her acting surely has problem. She has skills in acting but sometimes skills are not enough. I cannot feel her emotion, her charisma and feminism. She tries too hard to perform strong characters and her face seems not to be relax when she acts.

If Soo Yeon's father did not obsess with the past when his father was the slave of Il Jung's family, Il Jung and Soo Yeon could have happy ending.Now they have gone so far and did many wrong things.
First, Jung Il think Soo Yeon is the person who order to kill the guy. And in order to protect her, he killed that guy. While So Yeon thinks Jung Il killed that guy but she loves him and is willing to do anything to protect him and they can be together again. I guess, maybe Soo Yeon's father set it up because he does not want Jung Il and Soo Yeon together. He thought Jung Il is after the company but Jung Il and Soo Yeon are really in love. The two dark souls in love is quite interesting. Maybe, in the end, they finally can be together in the jail or suicide. It depends on how far they can do to protect each other.
Second, I think, in the end, Yeong Joo perhaps can save her father while the Dong Joon can do voluntary job like his mother or he can own Soo Yeon's company. I doubt that he can be the judge again and love Yeong Joo. There are many barriers between them. He is the person who put her father in jail, she is the person who slept with him without his permission and she threatened him to upload the video on the internet. They can be partners, not couple. If they were a couple in the future, it would be illogical. After all the things they have done, it is very difficult to make the audiences believe they can love each other.
I find Suho bit stiff in this drama. But anyways its a nice & sweet drama .
I agree with you. I think he is too stiff. He has no emotion in his eyes. He does not show any feeling like jealousy, nervousness... and so on. Many scenes remind me of Splash Splash love but Doo Joon did it better. And Su Ho and Ji Woo have zero chemistry. I guess next time, the PD should come back with historical drama. I have watched her other special dramas and they are really good.
After Splash Splash love, I looked forward PD Kim Ji Hyun's products. I think this drama would be as good as SSL, but The Universe's star is not interesting at all. I am disappointed with both content and actors or maybe the actors cannot convey the acting. PD gave Suho amount of singing time and reduced the space of acting. This is perhaps due to his lacking of acting. He cannot perform well and make his character special. His character is dim. The main girl sometimes is overacted and maybe because she is his crazy fan.
Until now I have seen this drama 9 times. Whenever I want to see a historical drama, and I want to be happy, I choose this drama. I like high qualified and professional actors and actress, and I have some favorite actors such as Lee Joon Ki, Joo Won, Yoo Ah In, and Jang Geun Suk,... And I also enjoy new and fresh actors such as Doo Joon or Lee Joon. Sometimes, new actors can live up my expectation, but sometimes not. If the actors suit their role and they can act, I think they deserve to receive offer. I am not satisfied with some new actors acting such as Nam Joo Hyuk, or Jin Young, and even Park Bo Gum. In some scenes, PBG cannot delivery complicated emotion and actually his face is not suit the role. Some guys are born with king and crown prince's face and they do not need to act much. Doo Joon is one of them. Until now, Doo Joon and Yoo Ah In are my favorite kings in Historical dramas.
