Channel managers don't really do that much? Sad but true....They are in charge of existance of the whole team so they talk with higher-ups, they ''hire'' people and than graphics for the page and so on!
The correction is done by betas (yep in Viki world that's how they are called) and it all depends on the Channel manager like I said. If the drama is well known there is higher chance that we get fluent speakers who can correct those mistakes BUT huge but here...Look at me and how I write. I was raised in Ireland which is English speaking country, but I suck at grammar.
The ones who are paid in Viki are the ones who run the site so no channel managers or subbers.... :/
I wish u good luck then! Sometimes the mentality u study with also plays a big role in the studying process. For example I have studied 4 years Spanish in high school but I just could not get it in my head and now I know only ''no se'' and that's it. But with Korean it's like....more than passion. Unlike spanish culture I really love korean culture which makes the studying process better. I don't even own a book really I use internet for grammar but most of my vocab comes from TV series.
With vocab I do a mind map, kinda? At first i made stickers with the word and sticked them on things I was learning and with others i simply repeated them in my head when i went out. I saw a tree and i repeated "namu namu namu" and i do it with each thing! :)
