I know that a LOT of people think that Chen Yu will cheat on main lead with Qing Yan, but I think that he won't since come on - he knows that Qing Yan is a freaking killer who tried to kill main lead multiple times. I simply think that Qing Yan drugged him and only slept BESIDE him to create a show.... But of course our female lead will have hard time believing Cheng Yu ~
I've also been wondering the same thing @ Mo Ro Fei, but I think I'm going to go with your first thought of her…
The 'rule' about his mother to treat him if he gets injured was broken multiple times tho.... So I think he is playing a real male role bcs come on, when he talked to his mother she never said anything even tho they were both in private room.

I know people in past were in polyamory relationships and its heavily portraited in many Chinese dramas. Yeah, it represents real life back then but call me naive or whatever, but I hate it. That's why I dropped Story of Ming lan in first place. I just CANT stand the concubines. If I was Ming lan i woulf either leave the manor or kill the concubines. Like srsly I hate it.
Can someone PLEASE explain me the family chart??? Is our heroine step-sister of lord Mo or what? Cause' on the other side main lead's father insists that she is his daughter while Lord Mo's ma says she is the kid her husband had.....
I used to be a fan of twilight when I was younger. It was a big hit back then and it was popular all over the…

Well, yeah u are right, in Secret Garden the main lead if i'm not wrong read The little mermaid but honestly, I never really felt the connection between that plot and the book. Yes, there are tons of dramas where main lead reads a book but for real I think this drama was based on from scratch from the book :)
I did not read the books, sorry! I actually dont know if there is a book connection there??? Tell me more about it pls! But honestly, I think this book as far as I know has only connection to this drama :) Correct me if I am wrong.
