Time to move on Ep 36-40 where so rushed and the last battle scene, which is supposedly the grand battle were lacking some badass scene. I was looking forward like the previous battles where there is some angst . I'ts 8.7 for me .

I like the drama but i love the novel more. I know they cut and change alot of scenes because of censorship and it's understandable . If only they bring back those old days where we have 60 eps. Alot of drama could've a better story and lessen those plot holes .
They could've add the Grand wedding scene instead of the alternate ending.
I like the novel version of this scene : - The 108 lashes, in the novel it was uncle Xie Zhong who administered the whipping. Wei Yan doesn't have the right to whip xie zheng. And before the whipping Xie Zheng he become a killing freak and when he understand that he cant live w/ out FCY he went to the Xie Ancestral hall to accept the punishment to rightfully accept and marry FCY. -the banquet scene, in the novel FCY got company atleast she wasn't alone in that banquet. When someone keeps offering her drinks Gen He, Gen Tang and Gen Zheng help her accepts the drinks. This time only Xie Zheng is her company (I know XZ is enough but i like it more when she got alot of comrade ) - The final battle and revelations, i like it more since it shows more of Xie Zhengs battle tactics and wittiness. You can see why he is worthy of his titles and why he is feared in the battle field. And also that battle is the battle between who's got the strongest army. The drama version is more on lighter than the novel version which is more fiercer .
I love the drama version of this scene : - aphrodisiac scene and the consummation of their marriage. In the novel they consummated their marriage because CY doesn't have a choice but to do it or else XZ will die. - changning and bao'er talking, they're so cute even making a promise about their future . - Chang Yu ,Xie Zheng , Changning and the rest of Pig slaying team reunite with Zhao Couple (even though this scene is not part in the novel i like it they made this scene it is so heart warming)
