After watching 12 episodes I must say I enjoy this drama way too much. Compared to other Chinese productions, this one has well developed dialogues, well-written characters and just the right amount of comedy and mystery. I don't feel bored nor do I feel like I can't keep up with characters. (I do love Untamed, but at first I was so lost with all the characters) There is no unnecessary romance, friendship is just on point. I love the quality, hope it will continue being good! ps. Wang with "You help me, I help you" is my new wallpaper.
The last ep was just one big confusion, like what the actuall hell? Seemed like they wanted to make it fluffy and nice but got cut out so just did tragic (and making no sense at all) ending. I loved it but oh man I don't know what to think anymore. Still, the HIStory series are pure gems, I hope they won't stop doing more.
Drama slightly darkish without over repeating boring themes - I can see why the ranking is like that. I mean just cinematography itself is brilliant. They aren't showing anything creepy (almost) and disgusting, they using really suggestive scenes and clever transitions. I'm enjoying it so far, keeping me curious all the time. Applause for actors as well.
It's fascinating how Koreans make big deal out of completly unrelated matters. I remember times when actor Kang Dong Won was heavily criticized just because his great-grand father was in pro-japanese fraction. I mean obviously, Seajong The Great had a big influence on Hangeul, no doubt, without him we would't be able to have it now, but he is not the only one that contributed. We can't feed people with same story full of pathos. The creators tried to show different side of it, showing and letting people see that actually there were different people in it a well. Waiting to see it. Thank you!
I randomely clicked on this drama and when I realized it’s based on founder of diabolism I literally S C R E A M E D! I loved this novel so much. Anime version was so nicely done as well.
That was the most deep and intense series I have watched in recent years. Sadly, there is not so many such dramas that force you to think and are well-made. Amazing, recommend to all who does not seek for easy to watch candy piece but rather something meaningful.
It’s been over two weeks and I still suffer. I read the novel to get over this drama and still just... Can anyone recommend drama similar to this one? I especially liked chemistry and elements of fantasy.
Still, the HIStory series are pure gems, I hope they won't
stop doing more.
