I totally agree but I am being honest in saying that I've driven after drinking two pints, in the UK this is over…
Thank you I honestly never knew about this, I was writing as an Englishman and how the laws are within this country, I hope that what I wrote didn't offend anybody because I never meant to upset anybody

Pride doesn't come into it, I am just being realistic and honest I was a normal kid who was almost killed by a dd, I am a lot older now and my understanding of the world and people living in it has changed so much with maturity, one this I won't do is bend the truth for nobody

Say that to people who have had family members killed by drunk drivers.
Hey DramaFan, I don't know where you live, but I live in the United Kingdom, if a driver/rider is stopped DD if it's their first offence and if nobody is hurt, normally it's a fine and 3-5 points on your driving licence if you're then stopped speeding, another fine and 3-5 points on your licence. The points awarded last 3-5 years, if these points exceed I think 12, you've lost your licence, also in the UK if you drive you must have insurance, 3 and more points you might as well double to insurance fee, I've not had to buy insurance for a number of years so this isn't exact, but say you insurance costs £1000, well 4 or more points you can double the insurance fee, if you drive without insurance the law here jumps on you, if you are stopped a second time DD, you can kiss your licence away and a large fine and sometimes possible prison sentence, although my initial answer may have seemed quite disrespectful, I was being true, almost all you folk push the barrier as far as the can, as they grow whether or not you're prosecuted, as you grow respect for other's grows, friends or relatives are hurt or done, this all teaches the young person. Mom or Dad telling them "No" honestly means bugger all, it takes experience to learn, I hope this sort of straightens everything out?

In 1986 I was knocked off my motorcycle by a drunk driver, I then spent almost two years in hospital, I was in a wheelchair for nine years, took me an extra five years to learn to walk, so don't act all riotous, nobody was hurt, and yes I was not caught being drunk, most of the people I know, if they were honest, have driven over, depends how much... I now am tea total
