There's a series of novels on which this content is based. The list here:https://kisskh.at/list/LQJjKvv3Is…
Not a huge/deep fan of this series, so the nuisance is beyond me personally. My understanding is that the list I linked is of drama adaptations of the novels, in the order that the novels were written (which is more or less chronological in terms of story as well).
Mystic nine and related story is perhaps the oddball as it's a prequel dated, I think, one or more generations separated from the rest of the content.
Someone please notify my great-great-grandchildren when this drama is finally completely subbed!!
This series has been on my radar for at least a year, but I haven't dived in for just this reason. I was reviewing a handful of dramas I had made a note of but hadn't looked up in a while, and I found a seemingly functional playlist. Not sure how good the translation is, but here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLb6d3yYORzhDFHnhW-DWmL6vaQpx2tjh1
I know nothing of this drama that you speak of, but I found this to be a very good watch with some good fight scenes reasonably good effects, and a great war story. The overall tone is a bit lighter than other war movies I've seen, which was welcome.
Question for anyone who has watched this: Does this series have an actual conclusion of some kind or does it end…
It's been a while since I saw this, but from what I recall, it was more open ended. Like there is definitely a big mystery that they solve at the end of the third arc that means a lot to a few key characters, but there's also a sense that the journey continues. I think one reason so many people are bemoaning that there isn't a season 2 is because the drama had a great collection of colorful characters, did a good job at presenting the mysteries, and was generally a very fun watch - in combination with that open end. It was very _very_ good IMHO.
With an average score of 6.5 I was expecting a cheap simple film, and was pleasantly surprised by some good action, great effects, and a non-standard plot that may actually say something about determination, and the value of friendship. This film was great comedy, with scenes that made me smile, snicker, or chuckle nearly all the way through. Didn't realize that it was part 1 of 2 going into it, but after makes me want to check out part 2 to see how the story develops.
