I might just watch this because of the chemistry between the two leads seem very cute crom the clips I've seen. But is it worth 16 episodes and even another season? Hmmm..
Superb actress & much more talented than many of the more popular actresses in korea. Her acting skills are on a league of it's own.. She was excellent on My golden Life.
I keep coming back to this show and giving it a higher rating than I initially did. That's the kind of impact it had on me. Honestly it's a refreshing breath of fresh air kind of drama because it's different from the kdrama format we're so used to.
Look if you're considering watching this then do so without any expectation nor any regard to most of the negative comments on here. I think people were dissapointed because of their initially high expectations.
It's en enjoyable series without too much unnecessary draggy drama.
Splendid actor and a delight to watch! :) Became a fan after I first saw you in A Korean Odyssey and loved your acting so much... will look into your other work as well.
DON'T READ IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED THE ENDING YET, EXTREME SPOILER ALERT!
Some people are satisfied with the ending and call it a "Happy ending" but I find it depressing and too sad for 444. Everything about it just broke my heart, especially the part where he met his mom and had a meal at her restaurant.
I mean he got killed and murdered by his step mom and shot by Ha Ram moreover his younger brother was possibly contemplating hiding the evidence about his mom killing Joon.. to add to that, he returned to the human world and fell in love, knew the truth about himself and was heartbroken, he sacrifised himself and witheld revealing the truth of his murder for the sake of Ha Ram and therefore never finding justice for himself. All this for Ha Ram and he made sure she lived a Happy lifetime, got married, had children and grandchildren all the while with him being forever in the underworld. The absolute and ultimate sacrifice in my opinion. Also It's unfair because Ha Ram lived an entire lifetime never knowing the truth and never having the chance to choose for herself nor the chance to love 444/Joon. She married someone else and had kids.. in the after-life wouldn't her emotions be conflicted and wouldn't she want to reunite with her late husband whom she inevitably would have of course had feelings for him?
I meam I dunno my heart is just broken for 444. He deserved better. I wish the ending is truly happy.
A lot of negative comments here are making me hesitant to start watching the drama. Would anyone reccomend me to watch it or would it be a waste of my time?
Any kdrama rom with everyday-people, rather than billionaire chaebols, is an auto pick-up for me. Go Back Couple,…
100% Agreed! Actual characters you feel you can relate to. Characters living ordinary lives each with their own stories, conflicts, troubles and joys in life. More human and honest and raw.
None of that overlydone, exaggerated & unrealistic fairy tales and characters.

Sorry for rambling.
Again, very cutesy. It's the most auitable word to to describe this drama. Enjoyable, but not something i'd re-watch.
