Finally finished it after having it on hold at episode 34 for 5 months. I loved this show, so funny and romantic. Loved the mains. Only thing is it seemed to drag for me at the end, had to fight to finish it as I'd left it so long. Glad I did though.
They should've kept the bl elements, it would've made so much more sense. It's so sad they basically were cowards and cut that aspect out. Also I don't agree with the ending at all, poor original yi heon basically saying he still wants to die? Like wtf How am I supposed to be happy at that? Couldn't they of sorted a way for him to get another body somehow or for them to stay in the body together? Also the secretary deserved jailtime. The vibes and acting made me give it an 7.5 but I'm still annoyed at how much better this could've been, like come on korea.
Finished because the FL was great, strong smart but in a way that made sense. A good person too even when she was out for revenge. "Fighting for love " really is a bad title, the romance might as well be nonexistent. I found the ML dislikable and by the end I hated him, a goofy to the extreme and dumb then evil guy, so glad she didn't end up with him. Sad as well because I liked this actor as a support character in Who rules the world. He had a better hairstyle in that and was much more attractive. The SML is so much more into, and has chemistry with the FL, if anyone should end up with the FL it should be him. Plus poor Tang Ge didn't deserve that😭 I managed to get through this and I'm glad it wasn't longer, especially if they'd continued only to mess it up and have to get with the stupid emperor. Yeah I would've given it a 8 for the fl but I still feel pissed at the wasted potential for enemies to loves with the SML.
Loved the badass female lead but started to feel so draggy for me after about halfway. Repetitive too. Could've been much shorter and had more clean story flow. So erratic near the end wth. Ending was disappointing, really just shut me off. Like rise of Phoenixes kinda not right. Wanted to ship the mains more but something about the way they acted Mabye after ep 15ish when they seemed to slow down in tension just made me want more. Started wanting her to show more interest in Li tongguan. Because of the badass fighting female lead I'm raising my gut disappointment 8 to 8.5. So many Chinese dramas I've watched this year that I've had to rate 8.5 as the ending or something brings it down 😔

Li yi feng was involved in a criminal case to do with prostitution and arrested. As with kris wu and others he's cancelled so they don't want to show anything he's involved with.
Watched 7 episodes but I'm done, FL is annoying as hell, started skipping or speeding through her scenes. Fight scenes are so choppy and unsatisfactory, males hair style is so hard to look at. Don't even think it's worth me sticking around for the bromance, something really off with the editing and some charecters chemistry is just meh. May keep an eye out for the odd Bromance clip but not worth me watching another 31 episodes.
Watched ep 4 and it's really not holding my attention. Granted i took a break because i kept feeling like i wasn't in the mood for it so i probably left it too long. I didn't feel much attachment to the charecters either, main guy was good but everyone else was either bland or stupid and annoying. I should've known it wasn't for me, stuff based on true stories like this makes me really down, not a true crime documentary fan. I kept hearing this was good though and i liked beyond evil so i started. Maybe i didn't like the slow style and direction, it could very well be as good as people say but it's not for me.
Short and sweet. A nice surprise especially with how much trouble Bromance centred dramas are having in China nowadays. A bit goofy but i enjoyed it and the ship was nice, would love more of them.
Not sure i can watch it, Joseph's hair is really bothering me lmao I keep remembering it though and I'm interested in watching the actors. Might try again but meh
