Remake of the classic of bl coming of age story

I first started this series before stopping at ep4 to went back trying to find the OG. And spent 3 days and 3 nights watching Lovesick S1 and 2 from 2014. Not only that, I also simultaneously started to read the novel translation of it. It was wild. The OG was not as wild as the novel but def some more than kisses activities shown on the cam.
After my pilgrimage from Lovesick 2014 and finished reading the novel, I went back to finish this remake.
This seems a very cutesy take of the novel. Closely following the novel but also taking so much times for the side characters whilst in the novel the side characters only developed in the special chapters after the novel ended.
Pun and Noh 2024 looks much younger than the OG version. Despite Captain was of same age when he played Noh in 2014.
They have much soft intimacy likes cuddling and cheek kiss, but did not give kiss on cam. Tho it was implied, they did it just not shown. In EP 14 during Pun's tow of jealousy that Noh and Earn kissed accidentally on the lips, Noh said to him, it was not like our kisses. So far the show did not show they ever kissed on the lips but by that remark I would just freely assumed they did.
I am also quite surprise on how liberal Thai parents are, both Noh and Pun's parents. Despite they never really coming out verbally, I think by the way the act and how the practically glued by the hip 24/7 (Pun's seems to live in Noh's place half of the show) they never really voice any problem. I cant imagine they would have the same sentiment if it's hetero relationship. At the end of ep 15, it was clearly shown how accepting Pun's parents are. Dad just said to them, remember protection, which startled Noh, and dad had to backtrack by saying some gibberish excuse.
And I had an inkling that this version of Pun and Noh also did more than just cuddle and kiss all behind the camera and all just implied by the dialogue.
In ep 15, Noh casually said the coast is clear for Pun after their camp and Yuri said goodbye. It was only two of them cos Noh's parents and assistants were all away.
Just connecting the dots, they probably did more than what was presented. And the glass door kiss was not really bringing anything to the table.
Why dont just drop the ideal all together.
Watching this and reading the novel, will make you had a little understanding of teenage angst and hormone.

To that Almond really nailed the drama queen, jealous diva traits. He is gorgeous and he knows that. Progress as Noh is adorable. It makes us understand how Pun can never really get upset for a long time with him. I wonder what type of project in store for them now that they signed with gmm.

As of other side characters, I lost track. I only remember Ohm and Earn and perhaps Mick. Other than that I was not really interested nor invested in them.
