I just watched the trailer, so Idk who would Chen Xie be, but I've watched some movies with Yang Mi and I've never had that impression about her. On the opposite, she's always looked so beautiful to me! But by only watching the trailer of this drama, her lips seemed a bit different from what I've seen so far.
So you also had that same impression about her?
Bc I mean: it could be she were already like that and I'd have just noticed it now...

(I put it on spoiler, since the comment isn't really about the drama, but the main actress hehe)

Then it means she did a good job bc her role was that of a high school student. Young adolescent act that way.…
Is it really a matter of interpretation or is it a matter of taste?
I think you're the one misinterpreting a simple comment.
If you liked it, ok, but don't criticise others bc they don't share your same pov.

Title Siege in Fog Spoiler
If you hated that ending you well hate this one. If they end it like in the books both Elvis Han and Kong Korn…
Why on earth couldn't one of them live? Or both live and she being with one of them in the end? I really hate sad endings! T . T

I got into Chinese historical dramas thanks to The King's Woman. I couldn't wait for the next ep to be released.…
Well, in that case, I don't recommend you watching The Journey (C-drama). I finished it last Thursday and I liked its story and all, but the ending was sad. =/

But hey, didn't Moon Lovers have a sad ending too? Btw, I spend like half of that drama crying. It had so many sad situations! :(
Still, I'd rewatch both of those dramas.
Finish watching the King's Woman; it's worthy!! * _ *

Btw, I've got a feeling that this drama will have a sad ending too. T . T

Title The Flame's Daughter Spoiler
Zhang Vin is such a great actor - hopefully he gets the girl this time. He was so robbed by Sheng 'Robot Boy'…
It seem he won't. And he also didn't in The King's Woman. Now I wonder if he ever gets the girl in any drama/movie?

I'm hoping Zhang Vin gets the girl this time but from what I see, Chou Vic is the ML. Oh, well.P.S. Dilraba really…
We share the same feeling.
I'll probably pity Zhang Vin's character again. : (

So what doesn't really make sense is, how can Dilaraba's character and Vin's character be switched at birth if…
Perhaps nb had looked at their 'privates' before being switched. LOL! Just kidding! XD

Ohhh how I wish Zhang Vin ends up with Dilraba this time.
The King's Woman feelings? How I wished it had ended differently.
But it seems they won't. Again. T . T

I got into Chinese historical dramas thanks to The King's Woman. I couldn't wait for the next ep to be released. Dilraba is gourgeous and that kind of character suits her so well!!! And I got head over heels for Zhang Vin. <3
I'm looking forward this drama with both of them again (although it seems clear they won't end up together =/ )

I think they tried to cram too much in, episode length didnt leave time for story building or character development.…
No, I haven't. Since it's not been long since I watched that Jap version, it would feel too repetitive for me to watch 2 dramas about the same story.
But, like I said, it's not that I found it 'bad'... it's just that I liked the manga version better. XD

Here I was expecting to watch a simple romcom but ended up crying a litre of tears. The movie is sweet, funny, and sad. There is that big classic cliché, but tbh I'd have done the same thing if I were in the lead's shoes. So I gave it a 10. Would I watch it again? Ofc not; I'm not a masochist! LOL!

I really liked this movie. It's beautiful and sour and sad in a 'balanced way'. I wish it didn't end like that, though, and that there were a continuation. Everybody's acting was good, the plot was good, the soundtrack was good. Second male lead syndrome here, btw! XD

But beware: if you're looking for a light and heart-warming movie, I suggest you looking for sth else.

On The Vampire's Invitation Feb 18, 2018
This was SO weak. Like the user said below, I expected more. Much more, tbh. Ofc the movie wasn't long enough for any further developments, but they should have made it longer and gave it more depth to that story. The story revolves around one single situation and that's it. Boring. Tbh just watched it bc the vampire guy looked hot. LOL

Honestly, I thought about watching it solely bc of Tao (although I also like Yang Mi - btw, did anybody else have the impression that her lips are a bit... 'weird'?), but the story didn't catch my attention at all.

Nº 1 doesn't bother me, although I do wish she would kiss him back. After all, it's basically just a peck. But I wonder if it's a cultural thing. Perhaps it's due to the actress being younger (than other actresses who would kiss back) so kissing many actors wouldn't be sth good for her image. Idk, just bringing up some hypothesis here.

Nº 2 doesn't bother me much, although I do find the character a coward for leaving. But at the same time, sometimes ppl do need some time for themselves to put things back together. I find it better for one to leave for some time to think about things and be back determined than staying with the other person being insecure about sth.

Nº 3 I guess it may be a cultural thing as well. Mainly if the parents are overprotective. I'm against it, but I know there are ppl who disapproves it. So it doesn't bother me as well.

Nº 5 makes my eyes roll, but nº 6 and 4 makes me cringe, mainly nº 4, when the character plots against the happy couple or in a way to make the 'beloved one' stay with them due to blackmail or sth.
There's an exception, though, for nº 4, in Bogosipda (Missing You). Although 'that person' did bad things to stay with their beloved one, I wished they did. I pitied that character and liked it.

Sth I also strongly dislike is when the main character (usually the girl) cries a lot. I don't like all that suffering and everything going wrong for the lead and she needing protection from anybody else. Like in The Heirs. After watching it, I cannot watch dramas with Park Sin Hye anymore. Same goes for Sin Se Gyeong. It seems to me they cry too much and I can't stand it. -_-
