I love Mu Deok!
Why do these kdramas always make me fall in love with the female leads? I love Mu Deok and Jung So Min. I'm sorry I started ep 1 like what may very well be 2 years ago and just never came back for whatever reason. This was a wonderful series with twists, ups and downs and emotional roller coasters.If I had to be critical I would say, that the show could have done a much better job explaining how the magic system works.

I miss Mudeok
When i started part 2 I couldn't wait for Jung So Min to reprise her role as Mu Deok. I was confused when I saw that she only had a suport role in part 2 and even more shocked when she wasn't on the show at all. I don't watch too many kdramas but I can't ever remembering a show axeing the female lead like this, ever, even though I understand they baked this into the story from the very beginning. Maybe it wouldn't have been so awkward seeing Go Yoo Jung again if she appeared a lot more in part 1.As for the actual story itself, I really feel like they completely dropped the ball here. Where was the big dramatic and emotional payoff once both Mu Deok regained her memories and Jang Uk realized who he was married to? Way to cheat the audience on top of recasting the female lead. Jang Uk never even called her by her previous name once, smh. Just terrible execution by the writers.
I still enjoyed part 2 enough, because of the performances and seeing a continuation of the story, but it really pales in comparison to part 1. smh.
