What? Are you new to the fandom? The age difference between the actor actually perfect for the plot purpose. Zhang Kangle's character Zhang Qiling is actually a near perfect immortal. He already a centeranian when they first met. Wuxie is just normal human, he unfortunately age 😅. Also, I don't think Wuxie actor actually that old, they just unfortunately gave him a bad wardrobe.

I just love it when the cast (especially Wuxie & ZQL actors) reuniting in other dramas 🤭. The Journey of Legend also have The lost tomb s2 ZQL actor Cheng Yi.

This adaptation seems to really "trying" to be faithful to the source novel (although I already notice alots of changes in episodes currently aired). So we probably won't get much bromance since it's mainly cover book 1.

Yeah, since the drama adaptation doesn't exactly faithful to the novel source. Drama adaptation can be treated like a stand alone drama. Except The lost tomb series.

This is 5 years after the main storyline 😅. After all, he went through so much stress & depression in those 5 years so it's actually make sense.

Unfortunately, Wu Xie is our beloved Tianzhen Wu Xie in the fandom so if it's his naive personality annoying, then unfortunately he'll annoy you forever because that is what he is 🤣. Other than that, he'll grow on you.

I think OP really talking about Panzi & not Fatty (Pangzi). Because Panzi & Wuxie really did have a good relationship. Panzi being Wuxie's uncle better than San Shu 😭.

True..Zhang Kangle (Adventure behind the bronze door) or Rianco Xiao (Ultimate Note/Sand Sea) is the best Zhang Qiling. Zhang Kangle has a great chemistry with Xu Zhenxuan & portrayed ZQL mannerism well. But I personally think Rianco is the perfect ZQL. If I had to I'm imagine how ZQL supposed to looks like, I think Rianco probably the best fit, from his body proportion, height, his eyes etc. Not to mention he did most of his martial arts performance himself.

They were adopted. Also it's a Zhang storyline I won't be surprised even if it's canon 😅...

Zxc character supposed to be a very disgusting & have very poor hygiene in the novel, what we got for the adaption is nothing compared to that 😅.

As the novel reader now watching the adaption, NPSS (original author) tend to let his idea go wild & totally make a whole different storyline from the novel. So I don't hold much hope 😅. But it good if you never read the novel 👍.

It's focuses more on the adopted Zhang journey. FoYe & Rishan make an appearance tho.
