I have a question -Ding in this series plays a negative character? I admit that I would like to see him as an…
Zhang Haixia - Ding character is not a villain. But as a Zhang they all morally grey character anyway. His character supposed to be one the most intelligent Zhang.
are the 3 main characters siblings? They all have the same first 2 characters in their name
All 3 is not blood related. Zhang Haiqi adopted both orphan Haiyan + Haixia plus many others unnamed children, raised & train them the way of Zhang for the Zhang's family mission. The Zhang is an ancient family with special blood which makes them unperfect immortal (there's a reason why I say them unperfect immortal π). There's a three part of Zhang the main family which include the series main character Zhang Qiling (appeared in main series the lost tomb), Overseas Zhang (appeared in sequel adventure behind bronze doors) & this adopted Zhang which appeared in Southern Achieves.
Considering this is another sequel of the lost tomb. It usually won't have any romance plot, only bromance. If they do have a tiny bit of romance included, unfortunately the girl character most likely will end up dead even before the relationship took off π .
I agree, as the novel reader first before live action, I think this team really did a good job in studying the…
Currently he will be rewriting sand sea gap/sand sea 4. But he promised to complete it this year & then will continue to finish tibetan sea flower. Considering he able to complete Vinegar maiden & Yinsi. I think he really in his writing era again. I'm most looks forward to "what are they doing now 2024" tho (considering he already uploaded the sneak peak since last year).
I've watched all the series. I would like to know the order to watch the films
Start from the lost tomb > the lost tomb 2 raging sea > the lost tomb explore with the note> ultimate note> adventure behind the bronze door> tomb of the sea> reunion: sound of the providence> reunion: sound of providence 2.
The lost tomb - cover vol 1 of the novel The lost tomb 2 - cover vol 1 & vol 2 Explore with the note- cover vol 3 Ultimate note (has a cleaner composition because it's from different company)- cover vol 4,5,6 & 7. Adventure behind the bronze door - cover the first sequel of the novel Tibetan sea flower Tomb of the sea - cover the second sequel of the novel sand sea Reunion 1 & 2- cover the third sequel restart part 1&2.
Stand-alone film (not based on the novel) Conjuring curse> misty creed Time Raiders
Prequel Mystic nine 1 > mystic nine 2 (no iron triangle, based on Zhang da FoYe/Wuxie's grandpa generation)
Vol 8, Ten Years later - sadly haven't made into live action yet (I wish ultimate note team can get the permission to adapt it because they are DMBJ fans that done it justice with how good ultimate note turned out) Post Restart - the fourth sequel also haven't made it to live action. I hope the team behind conjuring curse/misty creed could get the permission to adapt it because they absolutely can capture the horror well (yes, this sequel is a horror beyond simply exploring random tomb).
When? I hope pingxie moments here not as cold as first one.
As a novel reader I sadly think this is the truest form of Pingxie moments π . Poker face who doesn't think communication is the key & Wuxie who feels too awkward to interact with Xiaoge when Fatty is not around π€£. But it's okay πͺ. Action speaks louder than words & their tacit understanding is unmatched.
Anyone know when in the DMBJ timeline this and Conjuring Curse occur? I thought it went Conjuring Curse, Misty…
Although it's a stand-alone film, I love to think that this happened after 10 years later & before note in rain village part 1. I'm pretty sure reunion/restart happened after rain village part 1 since Wuxie's past lung problem was mentioned in rain village part 2.
From this movie I can sense the team who make this movie really study the novel even this story not from the novel.…
I agree, as the novel reader first before live action, I think this team really did a good job in studying the characters try to stay true to it. I saw many complained in here about why Wuxie in this version seems cold & distant. However, as someone who got used to first person pov (novel Wuxie) I think this is the true Wuxie, he never the damsel in distress or the puppy type π . That's why I never recommended reading the novel to anyone who already watched the drama first as they'll greatly disappointed for sure (Novel Wuxie is not as innocent as you all thought π). Anyway, NPSS start writing again this year (yayy) finger crossed he's keeping his promises about finally finishing tibetan sea flower & sand sea this year. He uploaded extra with an actually ending also (it's an open ending but at least it's not a cliffhanger). So I guess NPSS has finally reached epiphany π.
