Its a sad ending as they both do die in the end, but meet in the "afterlife".

What are u talking about ?? His brother had been planning to kill Shu for a long time! He didn't" go crazy" suddenly he consciously killed his own father and was going to kill Shu if Ziang hadn't saved him! According to u blood ties only apply to Shu and the brother discarding them doesn't count?? He should just lay down his life for the psycho brother.

😆 I understand the whole "blood thicker then water" being asian myself BUT in Shu's case if his bother wasnt a killer about to kill him too i would understand but to stab Ziang JUST for him was ridiculous! His brother was asian too yet he had no problem killing his father and brother.

Hmmm sorry still cant get behind him, his brother was NOT a caring brother he was infact about to kill him before Ziang saved him. Insted of pushing Ziang away & STABBING him no less cutting all ties, it would have made more sense if he had said i just need some time to process. Insted he kept pushing him away and ignored him as if he wasn't important at all!!
If he had just talked to him the war wouldn't have happened and shuhe's whole "i need to protect kingdom" wouldn't have been an issue.

ShuHe’s attitude continues to irritate me. This whole war wouldn't have happened never mind their estrangement if he hadnt pushed Ziang away for killing his psychotic brother the crown prince!!! To me Shu is just a weak character!
