The beginning of EP 19 was damn near perfect. From Gu Chuan finding out about the accident to the hug outside, to the doctor discovering a breakthrough, to Gu Chuan and Xu Cheng Ran' s heart to heart and celebration, it flowed beautifully, I couldn't catch my breath, and then bam stupid Su Man Lin and her crap.
Did Su Man Lin seriously lock her up there? Girl is freaking crazy. Someone has to find that out? There have to be cameras or the guards saw her or something. I mean lying and messing around with work is one thing ( I hate it but expect it) but that is a whole nother level of evil. Girl, everyone has already told you you don't stand a chance.
On another note, this show is utterly adorable. Gu Chuan in ep 18 was all kinds of sweet and the way those two look at one another *fans self* I am praying for a happy ending and no break up arc.
Yeah, I'm pretty tired of the "female business partner who secretly loves the male lead she works with/for but…
Yes! Could you imagine how much fun it would be to have that? Even in the two of the fluffier dramas I have loved this year (My Little Happiness and You're my Hero) there was still this cliche`
Yeah, I'm pretty tired of the "female business partner who secretly loves the male lead she works with/for but…
OMG I thought the same thing. I was like ooh this is nice, friends not enemies. I mean she saved her and then ManLin recognized how organized and efficient she was and told her about the job. I was excited and then bam 1 ep later and she is already plotting.
Ok so I am only 3eps in and am enjoying it overall (love Fair Xing, she just makes me smile) but I need to rant....I am used to the "evil" female that is there to cause problems for our main couple, I don't like it but I accept it as part of most dramas, HOWEVER Su Man Lin lying to Gu Chuan about not knowing where Xiao Ning was royally pissed me off. That chick saved you from a freaking assault and made sure your drunk, vomiting ass got home safe and you are trying to make her look like an incompetent uncaring fool at work?? Umm no. I don't care how much you think you are in love or deserve Gu Chuan, that was just wrong on every level. And on the topic of assault, holy crap the amount of harassments already in 3 eps....I do not think this bodes well for at least one of our female characters. (I hope I am wrong)
Idk if it's just me but I don't get good vibes from Mix's character, I feel like he's 2 faced. Either that or…
I am not sure about two faced but I do think there might be more we don't know. I was wondering if he had a thing for the brother we haven't seen and that is why he was so nice to him in the first episode.
As a huge Jang Nara fan, I was so looking forward to this show and the first 4 eps did not disappoint. I love how they are shifting from creepy supernatural, to lighthearted laughs, to emotional make me cry scenes, seamlessly. It is hard for a drama to walk a balance between that and so far, this is doing a fantastic job. The twist in ep 4 broke my heart. The cinematography is gorgeous and the OST on point. I think Jang Nara and Jung Yong Hwa have great chemistry and any scene with Kang Hong Suk leaves a big grin on my face (fell hard for him in the Kings Eternal Monarch). Fingers crossed things continue just as strong if not better.
I am sure it comes as no surprise that I hated the ending (except for her potential with Do Hoon, cause I liked him all along.) The first five minutes I wanted to throw something at my TV. The apology was crap. Guy cheats on GF. Then breaks up with GF (who refuses to accept) so he can date new girl, who at some point finds out about ex and waits too long to ask about it and it is all HER fault?? Are you freaking kidding me? That apology scene was the worst. LHR owed an apology to Ji Won. I get that the writer was trying to show a parallels between what happened to Ji Won when she was younger and that clearly she was hoping to prevent LHR from attempting anything drastic like she did, but no. The only thing JiWon did wrong was wait to ask Seung Yoo about LHR. I mean am I wrong? He did break up with her. And she had no idea when they slept together that he had a gf. How does this make everything her fault and her life be the one getting totally screwed? Uggh. And I think why I am so frustrated is this really had potential. Being 30 does not mean you have your life figured out. The three women really showing different lives of 30 started off so well and their support and friendship was beautiful. So at least the final scene of all of them with the two guys at the table was nice. I didn't need a happy ending, I liked flawed characters. What I didn't like is the guy being the root of so much crap and not having to own up or pay for even an ounce of it.
Why the heck is Ji Won taking the blame for this? I mean okay yeah she saw the heart in the glove compartment…
Exactly! Like why is Seung Yoo not being shown as the problem here. Why are we getting a sympathetic gaze toward him? As I said above, I am definitely in the angry camp at the moment and I am not sure if anything can really be redeemed in the last 20 min, which is sad, because I think this show started off really well and I like the cast.
Well ep 14 just took me from frustrated to downright angry...
Why the heck is Ji Won taking the blame for this? I mean okay yeah she saw the heart in the glove compartment and the phone call, but they were already dating at that point and yes, she should have ended it or confronted him then, but that is just poor judgement, not cause for total blame nor does it mean her life should be totally screwed. Did she know when she asked if he wanted to sleep with her? No. Did he? Oh hell yeah. He knew and slept with her anyway and then did the breaking up. This is maybe 15% Ji Won. And if by some chance, she did know before asking him to sleep with her and they are not revealing that to us until the final episode, then that just makes this drama messed up on more levels than I can count. And I cannot even get started on Hye Ryeong and her part and how an apology is not owed to her. I am all for woman supporting one another but I do not think this is a situation that calls for that.
8 episodes in and I cannot stop smiling with this show. Definite Love020 vibes, but different too. The gaming scenes crack me up and Lu Jing is such a marshmallow. My only concern is that Jia Yun seems to be set up as the SML and I am wondering why? I mean Hu Bing is oh so fine IMO, but I get more Dad, Uncle, Older brother vibes from him in regards to Liang Chen.
