On You Are My Hero Apr 9, 2021
Really enjoyed this show. I am a fan of shows where the main couple get together and stay together even through tough times (hello good communication). I think this show did a good balance of showing their jobs, the relationships and how they all intersected. The main leads chemistry was lovely and I suspect they ad libbed a lot of their scenes. My only criticism is that once we really had the couple together too much time was spent with the 2nd couple and we got less time with the main one. My Little Happiness fell into this same trap. Balance and sprinkling both couples throughout the whole run, might have been better, but overall everything worked (and for a 40 ep drama at that) It is one of my favorite CDramas this year alongside My Little Happiness.

Do you recommend this? This is one of the the dramas that are on top of my PTW list. So,I want to watch this but…
This type of question is always really personal preference and tolerance. The show is quick episodes (20 min) often with recaps or flashbacks (too many IMO). The female leads are funny and have a great friendship. Pacing is really off and there is a lot left to resolve with two episodes left. However there are really fun moments and the one couple of Ran Joo and Joon Young is really adorable. I suggest let it finish airing then binge quickly and maybe your frustration won't be as bad as those of us waiting every couple of days for the next ep.

I'd say she's talking about their first breakup and later reunion, not events from after their latest breakup.
That would make sense and I am hoping you are totally right.

I'm finishing this out with everything crossed that it works out. I really liked the friendship shown between the girls and the support they give and have given one another. Ran Joo and Joon Youngs relationship is beyond refreshing and adorable (although a part of me thinks that little cutie has a secret.) As for Ji Won and Seung Yoo, I just can't come to any type of term where them being together makes sense anymore. I had an uneasy feeling about him from the beginning and while I get life gets messy and your feelings can develop with someone new, boy did he handle everything wrong and not only that he continues to handle it poorly. What I like about Do Hoon is that even though I do not think we know everything just yet, he really just seems to help her. Yes, after that look during the movie (my lord someone look at me like that) he clearly feels something for her, I still feel like he is being very respectful towards her and her current situation. Support in a different form than what she is getting from her female friends. I really hope they end up being endgame or at the very least good friends. I am trying to pretend whatever snippet we saw where Ji Won says I am falling for you again, is some type of fakeout like Seung Yoo imagining it. Cause that girl is too damn smart to do something that stupid.

This was going so well and funny but now the male lead has misunderstood that the female lead's sister is the…
Me too! I stopped watching cause I knew this was gonna happen in the next ep and I am waiting to see where to skip to. My tolerance for mistaken identity like this is low. I am otherwise enjoying this crazy show.

I'm really sad this is over. It was exactly what I hope for in a fluff (low angst) drama. Good progression with the couples, good chemistry, lots of good kisses (both couples) and not long (by C-Drama standards). I like both the ML and FL (since PYHOMS) and enjoyed seeing them together.

I'm loving this fluff! Cannot believe I only get one more ep with these two. They should totally do another series together.

Binged the 1st 4 eps and so glad I did. How adorable is this show? The looks exchanged between these two with masks on is just pure chemistry.

The tears are still streaming down my face. Deep down I knew this episode would wreck me somehow, but I was not prepared for the level of sobs wracking my body. Love and hugs to everyone who saw themselves in this episode and who have faced (or continue to face) everything this show is portraying so vividly.

This show is beyond beautiful. It masterfully weaves its story that is engaging and touching, eye-opening and subtle. Every word, movement, choice has meaning and invokes a gamut of emotions. Ep 6 brought all the tears, but was worth every one.
