If they wanted idols for the sake of popularity without any concern about their acting skills, they would hire more idols from blackpink, bts and other kpop bands.
Jisoo got the role because she is popular AND a good actress. Big productions always have big names behind to get more viewers, it's nothing new.
And you can always support "unknown actors" by watching independent movies.
As a kdrama and kmovie fans, this series kinda overrated but still good. I gv 7/10
The suspenseful high concept is drawing people in, plus it's on netflix which is the most popular streaming platform in the world. It's not that hard to understand the hype.
It's okay to be mean to other people as long as you're handsome, rich and smart.
