exactly. I am a fantasy reader, so most my fave books are around 1000 pages and mostly the pacing is slow, so Im used to it and love it. Usually when readers complain about The way of king slowness, plot (not really) progression etc. i was like "yeah, that`s what i like". As this show it takes it time :-) so this show was meant for me for sure

soooo am I the only one that thinks that HaeSong`s adoptive father/uncle/boss is looking way to guilty here and there in past 2 episodes? Im almost sure he has nothing to do with our boy`s father dissapearance but he may know something that when not telling HaeSong will cause big riff later? did I overlooked something? Man he`s getting me really nervous

uhhhhh can not wait for the final week. I soooooo want to share my thoughts but im waiting after the finale :-) but what I can say is I love the show. I love the storytelling, I love the pacing and charcters and their developement. I don`t mind the "repeated" prospective scenes as they are important for revealing certain details at the right time. Sure you can show all at once, but then it will be no mistery. Im prepared for happy/noot happy ending but surely hoping for happy/hopeful ending.

I loved this episode but what I loved most about it is that finaly HaeSong made up with his little sis. As I thought You can not forcelly help her, she needs to come to conclusion about her relationship with YeNa herself (and she starts to see it). So my favourite not romantic couple is back on happy note :-)

i read that it has happy ending in the original (webtoon/manga) , but you never know what adaptation brings, but fingers crossed

so episode 7 was WILD and the ending was WOOOOW. thanks to all gods episode 8 is tomorrow. this is stressing me out of my mind but i love every second of it :-)

Hello, I personally select carefully what I watch, according to my taste (I even check - with older shows - if there´s happy ending), so mostly what I watched was 8-10 for me, because I know what I like. For example now I tried Buried hearts, but its a political, which is not my taste so i put it on hold and rewatch only if there is happy ending. What i drop or put on hold i do not rate, as its not the show problem i do not like the genre :-)

So the scene from next week preview is stuck in my head so Im gonna go on speculation trip:

she knows his name, althou from both POVs till now, we know they did not speak to each other in school yet she recognized him as an adult, so had to know of him, not just his name. I know he was in the same class but to recognize him he had to leave an impression somehow right?

in episode 1, when she was walking away from school for good, she looked up and it looked like she was looking directly on ML, that was watching her from his classroom. She looked so sad. And I get the boy just died, but she was looking back as losing something dear. And whe was saying "I will finally start a conversation ..." she looked down, like inner confirmation that that conversation he wants to start will never happen?

so could it be that she noticed that he was kind towards her (not gossiping, making small gestures for her, even tho from distance). I hoped she noticed, because even tho he was not brave enough to talk to her, she would remember one decent person.

OR she may liked him and hoped he would talk to her? or intentionally stayed away from him because she did not want anything bad happen to him?

am reading too much into it? probably yes and it will be something way less romantic.

agreed. currently im watching undercover high school, potato lab as well as my dearest nemesis. all of them different and i love them all, but damn this show is different (in the best way i hoped it will be :-) )

Memory loss? that is one of the tropes i trully hate (maybe dislike, not hate)

i may drop it for now, because it is not my fave genre (i don´t like political and army / war/spies kinda premises) so this is not mz cup of tea.

i hink i underestimated my dislike for these themes, so that is mistake on my part. I will see how it will end and rewatch later on.

the obvious reason is they were in school together, but so far from his POV he never talked to her. from hers (from what we know so far) she did not tallked to him either, but she recognized him as an adult. INTERESTING

i was hoping she would notized in the high school days that he cared for her, even tho he did not have the courage to talk to her, but there was nothing in her POV parts so i assumed she did not noticed. but maybe she did as she remembers him ..... OH GOD, another week to next episodes.

Ohhh no question about him neing smart enough to land job for NIS, I meant that more in sence: like me. I love math, i even graduated in it in hifg school, but that over 20 yrs ago lol so put me in class today an i will be lost :-)

also he will not fail, because he doesn` t think he can be 1st. does he wants good score ... sure, does he actually believe in himself to top the class? i think not, that` s why. he` s gonna give it all for the damn gold lol

well .... even tho he is so long out of school he can come last, but on the other hand he needs to join the school board and one condition was good score no? so thats why i think he will not come last. i just think he placinng 1st would be hilarious :-)

so I have a bold theory: what if our ML Hae Song will top the midterms? he was studying hard so ...... probably not but wouldn`t that be funny.

Also he definitely knows now that something is up with his litter sister (cousin) as previously they`ve been really friendly and loving and now she threaten him to expose him. I hope he will keep his promise not to tell her parents (if possible, depending on how serious it all will get), but at the same time I hope he will help her. Big Brother mode activated hopefully.

also what i loved was how Hae Song punched the bully with all the "man" strenght he poseses as an adult. I`m sure he could have pulled his punch as he was dealing with teenager, but no. hit him with FULL swing!!!
