What a masterpiece it is. Every aspect of this drama is amazing. Highlights of it was acting from #joboah and especially #leejaewook (which is not surprising). It was my most anticipated pairing this year, and for a good reason. Jae Wook and historical just go together perfectly and OMG the OST and the CINEMATOGRAPHY. NO words 10/10

the way i decided to see the ending is, that at the roof, she sees him (dream or ghost). I personally think the translation there should be "hello" as he said to her before that it means farewell or hello) and the next scene is afterlife, meeting again

i put it this way. It´s how I approached it. Do you think they would cast Jae wook and bo ah, slap a romance on it and made them sibblings? if you are afraid of watching because of the family relations try it my way. how do you think the romance can work if it seems to about siblings? make a theory for yourself and you will see if it will be it or if it will be something else. i came up with theory and it was right, not hard to guess

so IM SPEECHLESS!!! This was absolutely AMAZING. I have no words!!! I have to collect myself and adjust my jaw, that is dropped on the floor right now. As for the ending, see below in spoilers

This is one of my most anticipated shows of 2025. Best pairing of 2025. Give the casting director huge raise lol. I hope it will deliver as I hope it to be in my top 10.

Soooo I MEAN THE HONEY / it was hot people wise lol. but so much honey everywhere / uhhhhh NO. There is a sticky and then there is a honey sticky LOL. entertainment 100_% / would I ever try that? probably over my dead body lol

is it the best show of 2025? probably not but it´s kinda light and cute :-) but they cut his hair :-( we will see how it all unfold

So this actually can have happy ending. She dies and they will become reapers together. That`s the biggest wishfull thinking of this year :-) but I think the writers will go the more expected way. Anyway can not wait as who does not love some K-Trauma right?

NON-SPOILER PART OF MY REVIEW AND SOME POINTERS FOR THOSE WHO DID NOT SEE IT YET.

So, I finally got to write my review. I wanted the show to sink a bit and see if it would hit me emotionally the same as on the finale day. And it does. This show is like nothing else. It is an amazingly beautiful story about the power of love, compassion and resilience as a human being.

- You may see what I see (or not) but I love the story telling, everything is revealed when it´s the right time.
- The acting is superb, especially Park Jin Young as Lee Dong Jin. I loved every second he was on screen (on not drama related note – he has one of the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen). Roh Jeong Eui as Park Mi Jeong is like a delicate flower yet with immense inner strength
- All aspects are just perfect for me, I have no notes
- And the OST is absolutely one of the best. Not just the songs, but the orchestral music is insanely good

In case you did not see this show, or if you don´t know yet, you want to watch the show or not, I´m gonna mention couple of points, that can help you decide (non-spoiler ones):
- This show has really slow pacing (I am myself a lover of long 1000+ pages books, so slow is fine with me, but may not be for some people. If you do not like the pacing by ep. 3-4, it may not be for you. Also, if anyone realizes it´s slow and complains at the end that since episode 3 it´s slow, man that´s you problem, not the show problem 😊
- It has many repeated scenes (well not that many IMO) but it is what many ppl are not fans of. I however do not complain, as those repeated scenes have their significance, as they show certain details from different points of view of different characters.
- It is not your typical romance. The romance aspect is there (I will touch on it in my spoiler later), but if you are looking for mainstream K-drama romance type (girl meets boy, they fall for one another, complication occurs, they overcome it and voila – happy ending) you will not find it here.
- If you think everything in this world is black and white, you may not be able to see the nuances of the show.
- The show is called The Witch, so not really spoiler there is a situation, that surrounds mentioned Witch. You need to be able to accept this situation, that the show will present as a “in universe” fact. If you will not, you will not be able to enjoy the show

Show was OK but the Grandma redemption arch killed it for me

So my rating is based on one thing only, and that is the Grandmother of the ML. They gave her redemption arch in the last episode. After her whole life of hatred and one sentence from the secretary poof we´re good now.

NO! NO! and NO!!!!!

this person abused the ML since he was a child. A CHILD!!!! of what 8-9 years??? she constantly reminded him that he is NOTHING. That he has no right to mourn or miss his parents! When he behaved as a normal 15yr old (went to meet the FL) she BURNED all his stuff that he had left of his parents!!!!!

That is abuse of unredeemable level.

And the secretary said that he endured it because he wanted her aknowledgement. WTF!!!! maybe when he was older but at the young age im sure he endure it because he had nowhere to go, noone to talk to.

The show was MID at best for me, I was expecting something different, but that´s me problem, not the show problem (I would propaby give it 7/10).

I loved the ML, he was such a cutie. I was MEH on the FL.

Most I loved the second ML. Open and straightforward manly man. And props to the atress that played the grandma because man, she made me hate her.

That said, NOTHING can exuse this part of the story. There is toxic behavior and then there is this. She did not need a redemption arch, nor she deserved one.

I would not accept any kind of arc for her, automatically 1* from me. What she did was not excusable at all :-( It was kinda let down for me in general (I have to collect my thoughs before writing writing review, as im working on "The Witch" now) but i wasnt engaged last 4-6 episodes, IDK i would give it 7ish had it be good ending but NO
