Flashback showing the tragic love story of YY's parents. Part 2 previews show YY 's father try to turn back time to prevent his wife death using an artifact which failed at many attempted.

Xuan Xiang wasn't interested in the war but his lover who was fairy got dragged into the conflict. Before the war began the demon elders wanted to use the fairy to force Xuan Xiang to get involve in the war. Also from a flashback memory of Xuan Xiang seems to shows that his lover was punished by the Heavenly Realm .

Also it wouldn't be surprised that East Dragon Clan was secret working with the evil forces during previous wars.

Heavenly emperor wasn't sad about YY's presumed death news

She probably will try to seduce Tang Zhou and cause misunderstanding between Yan Dan and Tang Zhou.

YD's friend will go to the mortal realm and tell Tang Zhou about his truth identify , also tell him to locate the four ancient artifacts so he can repair his damaged Celestial Clotho to unlock his memories and powers that been sealed away.

Looking forward to Yu Mo get revenge against the evil dragon prince and king for trying to kill him. Also upcoming love story between Yan Dan and Tang Zhou.

ZX is causing more harm then good by not erasing the evil fairy's memory who will cause more problems to YD and Tang Zhou later on in the mortal realm.

The demon king most likely still alive and will stay hidden for a while. Most of the demons are imprisoned in Life and Death Arena of Night Forgetting River.

After the war:

The Heavenly Realm Divine and God Realms merged

The Mortal Realm - Combined with the Spirit Realm.

The Demon Realm- remain unchanged

Hade Realm no longer exist.

The Ren Hun Sword Spirit might witness some key moments in the previous war from Ying Yuan's father point of view since he was the previous owner. Maybe the sword spirit will return later to tell Ying Yuan what he witness back then.

My theory from watching YouTube clip below implies that Supreme Emperor cause misunderstanding between Ying Yuan's parents during previous war. Which cause the death of Ying Yuan's mother and Supreme Emperor might be the one that wipe out Yu Mo's clan to fuel hatred between Divine realm and it allies against Asura clan. Also feeding lies to Ying Yuan so he can be a loyal subordinate who will protect the divine realm and former six realm.

This version is similar and yet very different from 2001 version. The Main character, Xiang Shao Long is a space astronaut pilot from the year 2050 who time travel through flying into a wormhole thorugh a space ship in self sacrificing during a mission in space rather than a police officer who accepted an offer to be in a time travel experiment from an entrepreneur man in exchange to have a chance to go back in time to fix problems with his ex-girlfriend so she would not have broken up with him. Beside that this version fused some character into one person. One example, they merge Xiang Shao Long's rival, the swordsman and Wu Ting-Fang 's family butler into one character in this version who still has one side love for Wu Ting Fang. Beside Wu Ting-Fang and her father have a tragic end in this version which they died due to the scheme of the villains. Xiang Shao Long only have two love interest which is the princess Chiu Sin who still has a tragic end in the story and Xing Yun, a character who is a fusion of three characters from the previous version which Kam Ching, Sin-yau, and Lui Bat Wai's daughter. Zhao Pan is rather the real Ying Ching who was exchanged with the real Zhao Pan during birth. Zhao Pan's mother is married to Chiu Mok in the version rather than being his lover/pawn in the 2001 version.

The second season also explored the origin story of Shang Guan Jing Wo (Nicky Wu's character from the first season) years before he joined Shu Mountain, such as his birth name was Xiao Lang, the love story and the background of his parents. Beside that Xiao Yue , father of Xia Lang was also portrayed by Nicky Wu. Events of the second season show how teen Xiao Lang met his future wife, befriending his unknown granddaughter Ying Nan from the future and how those events set up the path he eventually took in the first season.

The second season is sort of both a sequel and prequel to the first season. The female protagonist (Yu Ying Nan) is actually the daughter of DIng Ying and Yu Wu Xin ( Main characters from the first season) who accidentally time travel sixty years into the past caused by the Scarlet Soul Stone. During the process, she lost her memory. Zhang Xian Bing, the best friend of Ding Ying who was corrupted by Scarlet Soul Stone in the end of the first season return as a major antagonist with a new name and face who also accidentally time travel sixty years into the past at same time with Yu Ying Nan during their fight when he was trying to steal the Scarlet Soul Stone to revive his dead lover who died during end of the first season. The second season's events set up the beginning of the first season.
