Title My Bittersweet Taiwan Spoiler
It might be hard for this to be subbed because of the sensitivity of the issue honestly. Because it's a pro-chinese…
I expected as much, obviously a c-drama about Taiwan will be heavily politicized. I'm still going to watch it though because the topic is pretty interesting.

Title HIStory2: Right or Wrong Spoiler
I'm really (positively) surprised. I did not expect an Asian drama to tackle such serious issues. I expected more from a Taiwanese drama than a Chinese one (for obvious reasons, Taiwan is much more LGBT friendly) but they really did a good job and exceeded my expectations. I like that the wife wasn't a cliche mean bitch who wants to destroy the main couple, she had some points and I felt a bit sorry for her, Shi Yi Jie as shown in the first episode wasn't a great father and I'm not too surprised she decided to leave and felt overwhelmed basically being a single parent. Also, the soundtrack is simple yet beautiful

Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo has pretty good sistmance. The main lead has not one best friend but two best friends. Revolutionary drama.

The second episode was pretty cringy... like, it's all just too extra. I expected something more believable (like School 2013).

I really enjoyed this drama. Though I have to say that the adult versions of them didn't have much chemistry. It was short but it made me grin and cry several times. And it actually has a happy ending.

So is season 2 happening or not? :( I heard they were considering it but with China's ban on the gays I guess it's not going to happen?

is it a romance drama set in a sci-fi world or an actual sci-fi mystery drama?

I hope it'll actually be a thriller/adventure drama, I have bad experience with dramas that have good premise but end up being a romance with interesting background.

Jesus, I fucking FEEL for the "W" manhwa readers in Yeon Joo's world. Can you imagine that suddenly in your favorite manga/drama/TV show a weird girl appears that claims she's from another world, destroys the power couple and suddenly changes the entire plot and becomes the main character? Lmao, I'd be so mad.
On Make It Right Jul 11, 2016
I love that they get straight to the point unlike the other BL Thai drama "Love Sick". Instead of 50 episodes of "should we be together or not" in the 1st episode the main character is like "let's fucking PIPE bitch right now".

I'm kinda sad that Cha Shik didn't play with Yoo Seul in the end. I mean I prefer it to Cha Shik suddenly becoming the best pianist but I don't know... I think it'd be better if he just played even if he fucked up. After all Yoo Seul would still be happy because she's playing with someone she genuinely likes, not because she's winning like this ending suggested.

But idk, maybe I'm just nitpicking. If not the ending this would be easy 10/10 from me (my first 10/10 drama) but... yeah. I still really liked it. It was short but left me satisfied though I wouldn't mind to see more of these characters.

I'm giving it a solid 9.5/10. Everything was on point. From acting (Ji Soo and Kim So Hyun.. oh my) to plot and even music (though I'm not big on classical music I got chills from that last performance).

Also big props to the writers for not using lazy tropes. Thanks for not making Cha Shik the best pianist in Korea in 2 months. Thanks for not actually making that pianist his father. THANKS FOR NOT MAGICALLY CURING YOO SEUL'S BLINDNESS!!! Thanks for not adding useless romance (that was not the point of the drama at all and it'd just take precious air time though I do ship Cha Shik and Yoo Seul). I just watched too many dramas like that and this one was a breath of fresh air.

(Also I had a feeling they were going to make that homeless dude that hangs out near the rainbow piano Cha Shik's dad...)
