There is between Nam-ra and Soo-Hyuk but it kind of just fizzles out. They confess and nothing more happens, I wasn't surprised as they're trying to survive but even at the end when they're safe, she kind of just fucks off.
Every damn week I'm amazed how good of an actor hae in is. Not only can he act, act he can also convey so damn much through his eyes, it's insane. I knew of him before this and I've seen him in a couple of dramas but he really has blown me away in this. Hes definitely made me a big fan of his and i will check out many more of his dramas, like many other international fans that have been introduced to him through this, I'm sure.
I just hope the cast and crew don't get to down on the ratings and seen this as something to not consider a good thing to have starred in so to speak. They're not god awful but they're definitely not what jtbc was expecting.
"Snowdrop's production company has reportedly witnessed rapid surge in stock prices following the k-drama's increased viewership and positive reviews." Not gonna lie that is a big turn around. I remember people thinking, me included, it's going to absolutely ruin everyone's career etc etc. I'm still shocked, good stuff. Glad I was wrong as I'm loving the drama.
Got to take into account Disney+. Isnt it on pretty late over in korea? Most people probably watch it on Disney+. Although theyll never release the numbers so we'll never know.
I really hope Hae ins reputation isnt shot to shit, in Korea at least, after starring in this drama. I love him as an actor. Would be a shame to see him not in anything after this because of all the controversy and no one wants to touch him.
For anyone worried about the ratings, episode 5 is up to 2.7% https://search.daum.net/search?w=tv&q=%EC%84%A4%EA%B0%95%ED%99%94%20%3A%20snowdrop%20%EC%8B%9C%EC%B2%AD%EB%A5%A0&irt=tv-program&irk=88855&DA=TVP
Oh damn, really? That's not too bad, not great, but not flop worthy like people are saying.
Yeah, they say that but I wouldn't take their word on it, especially with all the backlash it's getting. Although they probably can't cancel it as they have a contract with Disney+, unless Disney also give the okay. You never know.
Here’s a post that fact checks everything as well https://m.blog.naver.com/PostView.naver?blogId=nenier&logNo=222599850708&proxyReferer=&s=09
It might be because its from a right winger, supposedly, no idea if they are, which to a lot of people means immediately dismissing it. Which i can understand to an extent considering it was the alt right responsible for the issue at hand.
Jtbc released a statement saying“misunderstandings will be resolved during the drama development process…”Now…
So its not gonna be cancelled and supposedly eveything will be explained? Im gonna laugh my ass off if all this outrage towards it has been for nothing and its not distorting history. On the other hand if it does, well that would suck
