I’ve been following this whole controversy since the beginning of it and I’m quite speechless. There’s no…
I'm hoping this isn't cancelled before it can tell the full story, assuming they have done it in a good way, fingers crossed for that. I highly doubt it'll be cancelled at this point. The network, government, cast and crew are all well aware of the controversy and the emotions of the Korean citizens who signed the petition and continued to air it. They'd be stupid to stop it now when they've aired it knowing how much people are pissed. I guess we just got to wait and see.
bro the drama hasn't even finished airing yet chill
Oh I'm not mad or anything, hell I'm quite enjoying it. Jisoo is doing miles better than I expected and of course I'm loving Hae in. But Koreans are apparently quite pissed. I'm just wondering that if this does distort history, why the cast and crew would risk it you know? But like you said, it's not over yet. It could potentially not be as bad as we think, I'll keep my eyes out.
To be honest, I'm just more confused than anything. Both the leads, hell some of the supporting cast, have a big reputation in the entertainment industry, especially Jisoo. I find it hard to believe they'd damage that for this. Idk though. It's odd.
No way it can just be money, they'd have to know that if this is done badly, they're reputation could go down the drain.
I wish people could be more open-minded and give the staff and actors the benefit of the doubt. It's only been…
People have been in uproar since this drama plot was first announced. There has to be some plot twist or they’ve changed something up because I’m baffled as to how they’d see all the controversy and continue telling a story like this. Both the leads have such a big reputation in the entertainment industry, especially Jisoo, she even chose this as her first drama. I find it hard to believe they'd damage that for this. Idk though, guess we'll have to see.
Does anyone have the basics of why this is controversial? Like I'm completely ignorant with this so I'm curious. Is actually portraying the protests a bad thing or is what the showrunner doing with the portrayal of the protests a bad thing?
TIL mdl hated Vincenzo. How come? All I saw was praise for it, with some criticism obviously. But it seems disliked on here at least, despite the high score anyway.

Does anyone have a TLDR of this whole thing or know where to find one? Apparently he forced her to get an abortion, was this not the case now or something? Has he been vindicated? What's happening?
