So in the end.......it turns out that the brother is the most selfish one of all. He alone could have prevented this tragic ending if only he had not kept the story of ML's dad's death a secret and told them both the truth from the get go. At first I liked him, but the more it went on, and especially at the end, the more I felt disgusted by him.
Absolutely loved this drama! But, anyone else notice that Royal Consort Uibin's and Rookie Historian Goo Rae Ryung's Prince Dowon residences were filmed at the same location?? It drove me nuts trying to figure out where I had seen that house, pond, and entryway (gate) before!!
Cute, however, Extremely Heavy on the clichés......seriously, almost every cliché in the book! But the ending......absolutely sucked!! Why must these writers leave open-ended relationships??? I don't get it!! I watch Rom-Coms for romance, not for endings left unknown! I want the happy ending, dammit!!
Ok let me ask a very serious question:are they virgin???At their 30's and still virgin?????
Why not think about the characters and the fact that ML loved FL since they were little, and especially since he was 24, so he wanted no other woman but her......and FL was so busy catering to ML for the past 9 years, she had no time to herself, much less date, which is why she was quitting.
Also finally watched this drama. I actually enjoyed it, except for ep. 16. After all they went through, I didn't understand why suddenly they were apart, when everyone in the Kingdom knew they loved each other, and why the King was trying to find a "suitable wife" for him. Also, the age time-lapse doesn't make sense to me. They were 8/9 when separated, 10 years have passed which is mentioned many times, but somehow they are now 28/29.
I have never seen a more emotionally disturbed person as much as FL in any movie or drama! She despised her father for years because of what she thought he did, but had no problem when she found out it was actually her mother! And don't get me started on this push/pull crap she does with ML! The first couple of episodes every character was fun and animated, then everyone single one became depressed blobs of nothing! I had hopes with every episode it would finally start to turn around, even up to ep.16, but nope, same depressed characters right to the end! The only interesting thing I can say, which I think others agree, was the ice rink scene. But, I do have to give credit where credit is due.....the cliff hangers where some of the best I have ever seen in a drama. They alone are probably the only reason I continued watching, simply because they left me wanting to know what happened!
So two things keep sticking in my head..... 1) What gave ML the confidence to go into work that morning and ask other co-worker if FL had arrived yet? Typically, he avoids all interactions with her in front of others at work. 2) No matter what may or may not have happened with FL and Best Friend, how did SML find out so quick, unless someone else saw something and told him, which at that point kind of leaves me to believe it's a set-up of some sort!
Cute; but the absolutely best part is the OST Beautiful Lady by Jonghyun! Had to rewind several times to actually watch the drama, as I was too busy bopping to the music!
The last 60 seconds, was probably the most entertaining out of all 100 hours!!
"Do Joon fighting!"
