He has been filming non stop last few years! He should go on a short vacation after LBTG and give us some good dramas for the latter part of next year!

In this story, the emperor's only wife was a musician girl who later on becomes a music minister due to her exceptional musical talent. Dongsheng county people heavily support this loving couple and the kingdom is prosperous and therefore the emperor wants his only son to marry the older sister of FL who has the talent to become a music minister. Little does he know that the FL is more talented (wins a prestigious musician title (sorry can't remember what it's called) at age 10 against her sister who wins it at age 17. FL chose to give up that title and set up a musical workshop herself as she didn't want to be bound by the rules and regulations of her family' workshop (which is run by her sister) and wants to recruit talents irrespective of their background and disabilities.
So I guess in this story this is an acceptable ending.
We still have a few episodes to go so let's see.

Thinking about this he has done remarkably well this year!

1. 19th Floor is an awesome "Escape Room" kind of adventure - a different Miles here!
2. White cat legend was a costume drama where he played an antagonist role!
3. Lady revenger returns from fire- first costume drama as a main lead- a General!
4. Fox Spirit matchmaker - was a visual treat, his character was loveable and different!
5) You are my secret - JYH is a total green forest!
6) Echo of her voice- well this was filmed 3 years ago! But what a fantastic fantasy costume Romcom! Young Prince!

A range of acting skills there!!

"The Next Singer"is showcasing his talent as a host. Mind you, live stage hosting is not a child's game!

It's nicely paced for 24 episodes.
Yes it may not be a masterpiece but if you are after some light-hearted costume romcom this is definitely worth watching!

Marvelous Fable is a cleverly written script and 19th Floor is a masterpiece adventure (even me in my Sixties appreciated it!). Both are my favourites.
The bottom line is that he can nail any role!!

With the way he has been filming non stop in the last few years I doubt if he has had enough time to practice and play. I would be happy if he gets time to eat, rest and sleep! God bless him abundantly!

He is so good at cooking because he had a headstart in it from his C dramas playing a perfect husband/boyfriend 😂😂. If I remember correctly, there is at least one scene of him cooking in the kitchen in most of his dramas!

Maybe this role gives him greater scope to show his acting skills. With a good script, strong cast and a successful director not much can go wrong we hope! Mind you, Dilraba has not hit dramas recently and Arthur Chen has been surrounded by controversies so our boy may be the saviour in "support role"😃🤞

He is one of those very few actors who can bounce between main lead, second lead, support role and guest role and still be successful ❤️

The main leads have a very healthy relationship. No breakups! They have minor misunderstandings in the beginning. FL hardly knows him hence minor misunderstandings but they sort it out in the same episode ☺️(ML doesn't always explain things clearly!) Episode 12 onwards story grows.
Second leads- no break up. Lovely to watch their characters grow and they have the best chemistry!
Third leads- break up twice and probably end up as friends?? but we viewers have already decided that it's better for them to break up 😂 (as per comments lol)
The guy has a strong sense of self respect and girl is used to a lavish lifestyle and both side parents are against!
The writer has left their story to the viewers imagination!
