Please make a movie again next time!

If you've been watching this series up to this point, you know very well what you want.

For the first half though, I'm not sure the filmmakers themselves did. They had this strange idea of introducing lots of characters and cutting away from the main duo (while also disposing of action scenes).

Luckily the second half course-corrected.

Stunts - 70/100 | The gunshot sounds are getting better! Finally.

Narrative - 64/100 | The trap of making a TV show that many people might miss outside the main movie series rarely felt more impactful than here. Ironically, because of its lack of narrative impact. Since you can't expect every fan of the movie series to watch this side content, nothing of actual consequence can happen or they might feel lost in the next one. Therefore, the stakes are cheapened. This also needed to be a lot shorter. It would be all the better for it.

Fight Choreography - 81/100 | I'm pretty sure if you combined every single action scene in this TV show there would be less of them than in Baby Assassins 3. But when there is action happening, it's still pretty damn good. The movies have done it better, however.

Enjoyment - 65/100 | The weird dynamics of the back half saved this, because at first I was bored out of my mind. But then Akari Takaishi shows up to shoot people with a lethal stare once again, and all is forgiven. She's getting better and better at acting and it hasn't gone unnoticed, at least to me.

Please make a movie next time! And I sure hope there is a next time. There has to be.
