While it's true the principal photography for VD is shorter compared to other productions, that's also a double edged sword. Actors feel the need to consistently be involved in projects to stay relevant as you said, and it gets worse as they age; it's the nature of the industry. Very unforgiving.. you can be the hottest thing one minute, and the next you're just a blip in the memories of the fans who still care.
9ndramas in one year?! In China film industry actors work like slaves 😱
Overreacting. Short dramas don't take that long to film and considering the kind of actors they are, they'll inevitably become less relevant as they age, so it's better for them to earn as much as they can now. Regular people work every day too. I don't get why people only seem to feel bad for actors.
A new series of him just premiered ....I am NOT sure if it has been posted with another title but just in case…
at ep 29 this is the very first time I actually like the actress as fl because I had seen her in countless vertical dramas and she is usually acting like a little kid which completely turns me off particularly when the script includes romance or seduction/sexual scenes but thankfully she doesn't sound and act as 3rd grader here. YZX is good as always 😍
What is Luo Yunxi doing these days ? No other new projects are there , besides shadow punisher which will most…
LYX has chosen not to join any dramas because he needs a clean break from his long-time agency. They have been pressuring him to join several dramas so they can co-produce them. This year, he focused on music: he held 3 concerts with a total attendance of 48,000, released a new album, wrote and composed many songs, sang at several major galas, and performed at multiple music festivals. Shadow Punisher is scheduled to air this Friday, Oct 2nd.
I'm here for DGZ. Storyplot didn't peak my interest. Chemistry of the leads seems a bit bland for me. Kisses were decently executed as expected for a DGZ drama. Intimacy was there but not sizzling enough. Felt the ending was rushed and forced to have that HE. It's a 7.5 for me. Fair enough for the kisses rendered.

This is an article interviewing a couple of VD actresses that gives us a glimpse into a harsh realisty.. sadly, all that glitters is not gold. Depressing really..
