Okay first of all calm down I really don't know why you're so aggressive when this is all just about opinions and preferences so chill out. I get where you're coming from as I have seen 5 centimetres per second however that concept is way more different than this one and it's quite impossible to compare the two. You picked up on the romance part of itaewon class therefore I thought I would example why I enjoyed it (but you don't have to!!) but I also found other parts of this drama entertaining such as character development which I know some people found annoying however I just felt connected with the characters for some reason and I also enjoyed the whole revenge side as well so in conclusion I enjoyed this drama but you don't have to so I really don't get why you are getting so heated about this. I get where you're coming from but maybe I just viewed this drama from a different point of view from things I have experienced in my life that I could relate to. And I did think it was realistic for that reason. I get what you're saying that if itaewon class would've been a romance focused drama it would've better and I kinda agree with that as the plot got a little weak by the end but if I enjoyed the drama until the end then I don't see any problem with it. It's okay if you didn't like the drama because it is definitely not suitable for people who are here for the everyday cute and happy kdrama. There's nothing wrong with that. The small details include things like character development and how real the characters were presented. The romance was good bc it showed how you can't force yourself to love someone and sometimes you go for the people who are completely different from you. Saeroyi and Yi-seo's bond is special because they have both experienced pain that no one else can understand and Yi-Seo was always there for him and believed in him when no one else did. And I'm sorry but if I have to explain this to you that means you just simply don't know what love is and I did enjoy this more real and cruel representation of it than other kdramas where the two attractive and perfect leads get together because that's just not how life works. The small details. Again. I'm sorry but if I have to explain it to you that just means you didn't understand anything from this drama and that's completely fine then watch something else. This is just my opinion so go back to your cute and happy kdramas and spare yourself from being angry at people who can actually understand what this drama is about and accept someone else's opinion. It is really obvious that nowadays people are unable to understand meanings behind stories and only focus on the things that are outside. If you would've payed attention to small details maybe you would've understand and actually enjoy this drama. But you clearly didn't. The romance wasn't "lame". It was well explained and reasoned but obviously you didn't really catch it. Like you didn't really catch any other things. This drama highlights so many things that are just simply amazing and if you can't see that I'm sorry but it's your lost. No hate tho if you are more like a light cute kdrama person. That's fine. But please actually try to understand the drama before you write a lame review like this
