Don’t worry, the love triangle isn’t really a problem in this drama.
I think @OmoreilewaOluwagbemisola is asking @AMY if there is something more problematic after @AMY says ".....isn't really a problem in this drama" - It sounds like there are other problematic parts. Looks like a case of Miscommunication
Trailer 18-19 once again reinforces my ridicule for "Leaving Her For Her Own Good" trope. Not only did it put the FL through grief and suffering, it also left a vulnerability for the villains to leverage against the MC. If FL is to suffer anyway, then I would rather see her face those hardships alongside the ML, and not after a needless heartbreak being forced to face it all alone
The FL is actually the long lost daughter of General He and her' "dad" is just a subordinate who saved…
I was thinking that the FL's father is not the real son of her 'grandfather'. FL's father might be realted (not blood related but with a history) to the ML for e.g. he might be the uncle that taught ML how to fight. He looks like he had a solid evidence for the event that happened in the past and might even have been a survivor/witness.
I was getting entertained with every comment Stting on the FL + SML as well as the story. But this comment which is personally disparaging the actors was instantly distasteful. Yeah the FL and SML are the butt of the joke but no need to extend it to the real actors while searching for things to make fun of in real life. One might say you were just making an objective remark. But hating a character and then finding the real life actor behind the character a sore to the eye is not exactly unbiased, am i wrong?.
Relaxing story immersed in a simple/sublime romantic vibe. With an added sprinkle of familial love to further warm our heart 9/10 - for its simplicity 8-8.5/10 - if I I am being a bit more demanding
Dao Ge(Pug) and Yu Yu resting upon the grass whilst gazing out towards the horizon, their presence brimming with healing energy ever so gentle. This moment made the screen overflow with a serene ambience A Truly Peak Moment
From short clips that I have seen, the drama is not as good as I wanted it to be. But I am easily satisfied, as long as acting is good enough and the direction doesn't stray from the author's OG source material
My goodness the female lead looks so old.. I feel pity with Hong Yi
27 and 28? LMFAO. People are just too obsessed with age and not the real art. Unless the actor is under 20 paired with unreasonably old man or unless the age becomes a hindrance to play in certain roles, why care for age? They are adult and can choose to act in whatever work and with whoever as co-stars. Only if the FL/ML's acting is severely inferior will I feel pity for the ML/FL who are by contrast doing a great job
I mean, the novel is highly praised by the novel community which made the novel a highly anticipated novel in my must-read-list. Now, that there is a Drama adapation, it doubles the utility. I can simultaneously or consecutively read and watch a great work come to life. Or, I may be highly dissatisfied by the poor production of the drama i.e. butchering of the source material(hope not)
Just my understanding:No most men in real life don't use past trauma as a justification to do wicked stuff. They…
Evil is everywhere. We need to fight it but lets not totally turn against our counterparts. World is evolving. Patriarchy was a way of life when war and physical strength was the most necessary of survival tools. Men kill, women kill. What evil men can do, women can too. Hyperfixating on only the worst cases of men will do you no service! And if enough women turn hostile towards men like you are, the men in the society will be demotivated. AND the society will devolve towards a dumb and unnecessary conflict where men no longer care to prove themselves innocent (because why would they need to apolosize for things that aren't really true and things they would never do). I urge you to be more of a rational thinker. Being pessimistic and turning hateful towards men serves no purpose
Actually I hate men and this drama made my hate for men even go further 😂😂 I can’t trust men rich or poor…
Just my understanding: No most men in real life don't use past trauma as a justification to do wicked stuff. They either use the trauma to make themselves better or leave the world behind. Yes, some unfortunately do go haywire and it happens in female population as well. Some girls can be just as awful, only the way males and females reveal their unraveling maybe different. Hate is a strong word
Her acting is too good and thus you can't attack from that angle; so you in your brain ought to justify it by…
So your way of destigmatizing is calling someone a sociopath? People these days want to normalize eveything(the way they want to) out there. And initial comment I made was not even abt this. It was about you calling someone a sociopath cuz she played the role to perfection. Sociopath: Individual with ASPD showing persistent disregard for others' feelings, social norms, and laws SO yeah lets not call someone that. And no need to normalize the term as a compliment, let the people with ASPD just exist without hyperfocusing on them P.S- complimenting someone who did a great job serving humanity is a no-brainer. I have no problems there

I might sound a little aggresive, but it is not really great a outlook that you have i.e. you hinting someone is a sociopath like that is some great compliment! I don't want people to stigmatize sociopathy, but there is also no need to call people sociopath just because they did a great job in some aspect of modern life! We should give people credit for skill, not pathologize success. And, tbh your comment was not that bad in hindsight.
Kim You Jung is killing this role.. she must not be acting acting
Her acting is too good and thus you can't attack from that angle; so you in your brain ought to justify it by portraying her real life personality to be the same evil(whatever) that she is here? That's reaching too far into the void Can't you just admit like a normal person, that she may be a really good actor?! sigh

Question: Is Xiao Man the final couple pairing?

SPOILER(DONT READ FURTHER): I agree Shen Cheng was most likely adopted from the Orphanage and Hai Tang married so that she could provide a better life to Shen Cheng
