Actually i think i can guess why chai-re’s character is made this way. There is no justification for her actions anyway. But i think every character is formed in a story or drama in a certain way for a reason. Her character is shown to be extremely ambitious someone who can do anything to achieve her goal. But it is also shown in one of the episodes that she is talking to her mother about her mother asking her to not do what her father asks her like being a law or medical student. She seems to be forced to do as been told since young age. May be something has made her to become a character who knows what she is doing is not right but she will do it to make herself look bad. Some characters are meant to be talked about or being hyped as a villainous character. After-all no one is born bad.
I totally agree with @Sagarika_deb_nath. Every drama is a real life story to me. So it is more realistic than many other dramas. When we look at the FL 's character she seems to be weak n naive to us. But in reality aren't we like that too. We also face many toxic relationships with which we get entangled so much that we can't really let go knowing its toxic. It basically proves the fact that not everything is black and white. There seemed to be moments when the ML behaved how a compassionate or considerate man should behave. He tried to protect her well.May be the ML had a bad past experience too , we don't know about that. So it will seem like those gossips we do in real life where we take one side not knowing the other. I m looking forward to the next eps. Thank you.
I really really loved it. It's definitely one of the best of this year. I have seen the previously released "gumiho" themed dramas where storyline is more or less similar. What makes it different is the extrordinary chemistry between the leads. ML was humanely " inhuman" at times... he was cold yet caring since the beginning but his character got better with the progression of the episodes. FL is cheerful and exactly how a student should be. Besides the side characters played their perfect roles. Moreover, i found it really funny how ML teleported and ran away in episode 13. All episodes of this drama is now available with eng subs in facebook.
