It was! and not very creative either. I admit I skipped a lot of these while reading. I'm also glad the show is giving us much more story and the characters look a lot less Marysue.

As I hoped, the actual first episode was charming and waaaay better than the novel.

The episode preview looks really good, unlike the novel that I found poorly written. Fingers crossed for the screenwiter/director/series crew and MosBank to make it work.

Despite its shortcomings, I really liked how this series shows how complicated and fragile human relationships can be.

It was funny and silly and I'm so watching it next week too. It had a few cringey moments, but did you see that kiss right at the start? no crumbles.

I liked it. It had its weak spots, but I love how there's actually a lot of Japan in it, they incorporated a lot of info about Japan and filmed in some popular spots. The ending was good too imo, not sugary and overomanticized, but more like it could be in real life.

I really loved the artsy and the philosophical mood of this series. It's not your typical BL story and probably isn't for everyone, but I enjoyed it a lot.

I understand Vee, I'd be the same and keep on testing their persistency and their feelings. But I do agree that a good talk would help them progress.

I don't care if the plot is dragging, as I could read in the comments below, didn't think so while watching, because I love Sky and Venus and I want to see them together. As much as Vee was heartbroken, I believe it should not be easy to win him back, so how the plot is going is fine with me. Also, if Sky was good at relationships, he wouldn't have turned Vee down so straighforwardly after Vee confessed his feelings. He sucks at romance, but he's trying and it's adorable.

I liked the first episode. It was light and a bit silly, definitely a palate cleanser from the drama-dramas. I'm gonna watch it, hopefully it stays this fun throughout.

The last part of what you wrote really speaks to me and yes, the pressure is unavoidable. No matter how self-assured you are, it is not fun to receive it and I also can understand that some people may want to cut it short by entering a hetero marriage.

I was watching EP.3 and when Lom was telling Nuea about sunset and his favorite color, it suddenly dawned on me that Sky & Pai's wedding was emerald green! just like Skye told Prapai when they were snuggling after they finally got together. I lovelove such details being used <3
