Ep1 was very good, the storyline and the characters got me interested. And the scenery was super awesome, I'm looking forward to see more of rural Thailand in this series.
I waited for this series for a long time and I absolutely adore it. The slow pace, the teenage uncertainity, the moments you are about to say things, but you hestiate, it's all so real when you are a teen taking their first steps into the love life. I also adore how sweet of a person Hee Su is and his science geekness. It's someone I would love to have been friends with in my teen years.
It was not groundbreaking, but it was an enjoyable and light watch. I really liked seeing Mix and Earth in a different type of series than their previous ones.
Haven't felt like this for a BL series for a long time, really enjoying the feeling and emotions it create.
I get that, a few days ago I was like " is this the new Bad Buddy, emotion-wise?" Of course it's different. but I feel like it may gather a lot of devotion from fans.
I liked the first episode overall and the most outstanding thing for me was how they did the two language thing. This is how you do it! Other companies, watch and learn how to mix Thai and Korean speakers and make it look natural.
This series is the weekly dose of fluff that keeps me in a much better place than I would be without it. Yes, it's exggerated sometimes and shows too perfect image of some things, like both families in this episode, but I don't really care, it's not perfect and yet it brings me so much joy.
Rewatch value for episodes 1 to 7: 10/10 (please, don't f-up the rest, please please)
So far, this ep was the best, I worried that there were too many repetitive things that happen in most series and I really liked where the story went in ep 5.
I liked everything but the romance part, for me it looked like a cringe schoolgirl's wet dream. Just no. It was out of place and watered down the otherwise good story. Other than that, it was a pretty awesome series.
I watched it the third time last week, it was an anniversary rewatch (it started airing in Aug'23) and the entertainment score was just as good as before. Even if everything else was poor (and it wasn't), it would be worth watching just for the chemistry that Khaotung and First create between their characters.
Please, send me some will to finish it. It should be easy, but it's not, despite the good cast.
